Many believe that somehow, beauty and talent can pave the way for people.

They say, “Even if you’re not considered beautiful, your talent can take you far.” And, “If you’re beautiful enough, favour will always find you.”

But here is my Jesus. ❤️
His influence surpasses what beauty and talents will do, His own influence is forever, stable and reliable than any other influences.

He doesn’t need your beauty, connections, background, status or extraordinary talent to position you where He wants you to be.

“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.”
Psalm 75:6-7

Beauty can attract attention. Talent can open opportunities. Connections can introduce you to people.

But Jesus can take a person nobody noticed and place them where nobody expected.

David had the anointing before he had the platform. Joseph had a dream before he had a throne. Esther had no royal background, yet God positioned her in the palace for a purpose.

That is why I don’t want to depend only on what I possess.

I want the One who positions me.

Because what human qualities can open, God can establish. And what God establishes does not depend on trends, appearances or people's opinions.

Jesus is not just an influence.

He is the source of lasting influence. ❤️

And when God is the One taking you somewhere, even those who overlooked you may eventually have to ask, “Who positioned this person?” 😅

Can two work together, except they be agreed?

Absolutely no.

So, if you meet someone who is not in your class of thinking, values, convictions and direction, there is no need to allow them force a relationship with you simply because they want access to your life.

Not everybody who wants to walk with you is meant to walk with you.

Sometimes, separation is not hatred. Sometimes, it is wisdom.

You can love someone and still understand that you cannot build with them. You can forgive someone and still know that they should not have a permanent seat at your table. You can wish someone well and still choose not to follow them where they are going.

The Bible says, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Amos 3:3.

Your destination matters, but so does the company you keep while getting there.

Imagine trying to run towards God’s purpose while constantly walking with someone who is pulling you in the opposite direction. One person is saying, “Let’s pray,” while the other is saying, “Forget all this God matter.” One is trying to build discipline, while the other keeps encouraging compromise.

Before long, you may discover that the person you allowed to walk beside you has slowly changed the direction you were originally going.

Be careful who you give access to your heart, your mind, your dreams and your spiritual life.

Jesus loved everyone, but He did not give everyone the same level of access.

Sometimes, the most spiritual thing you can do is not to fight someone, insult them or hate them.

Just respectfully choose your path.

Because everybody can be loved, but not everybody can be followed.

And everybody can be forgiven, but not everybody should be given unlimited access to you.

Protect your peace. Guard your values. Guard your faith.

You are not wicked because you refuse to walk in a direction God never called you to go. ❤️

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23

Imagine having ONE connection that can decide where you spend eternity. 😭🔥

Many of us don't understand the value of the Jesus we have.

We know how to respect people with influence in this world because we understand what their connection can do for us. One phone call. One recommendation. One introduction. Suddenly, a door that looked impossible opens.

But Jesus?

Jesus is not just influential on earth. His authority reaches eternity. 😭🙌

Look at the thief on the cross.

This man had no time to repair his past. No time for baptism. No time for communion. No time to do enough good works to impress anybody.

He simply looked at Jesus and said, “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.”

And Jesus replied:

“To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
Luke 23:43

Imagine having nothing to present but your faith in Jesus, and Jesus Himself says, “You are coming with Me.”

That thief's past could not speak louder than the mercy of Jesus.

And as for me, na the connection I get with Jesus I dey depend on ooo! 😭😂🙌

Because when this world is over, I don't want my confidence to be in my achievements, my status, my money or who knows my name.

I want Jesus to know my name. ❤️‍🔥

Because the greatest connection you can have on earth is with the One who holds eternity in His hands.

May your life continually bring glory to Jesus. May you grow in wisdom, grace, and the knowledge of God. May you fulfil His purpose for your life and remain completely His.

Why will you be ashamed to be associated with Christ?

People already know you are a Christian, but you yourself are ashamed of associating with Christ, the very Essence of your faith.

I shake my head anytime I am in a gathering and a Christian is called to pray in the “Christian way”, but they cannot even end the prayer in the name of Jesus.

Following Christ should not be by the name you bear or because you were born into a Christian home. You should know Christ for yourself. Because when you truly know Him, you will not be ashamed of letting people know where you stand.

Peter once followed Jesus closely, yet when the pressure came, he denied knowing Him. But after encountering the risen Christ, that same Peter boldly preached Jesus before thousands.

There is a difference between being called a Christian and being identified with Christ.

Jesus said:

“For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed...”
Luke 9:26 KJV

You don't have to force Christianity on anyone, but you should never be embarrassed to say, “I belong to Jesus.”

If Jesus was not ashamed to die publicly for you, why should you be ashamed to identify with Him publicly? ❤️‍🔥

Know Him. Love Him. Stand for Him.

Are you truly unashamed of Jesus? ❤️

Have you ever wondered why Satan keeps showing up around?

Satan tormented Job.
Jesus was visited by Satan to be tempted.
Paul said a “thorn in the flesh” was a messenger of Satan sent to buffet him.

Different people. Different battles. But one enemy with one consistent agenda, to distract, torment, limit, or pull them away from God’s purpose.

And here is the revelation, the presence of Satan in your battle does not mean the absence of God’s power. No, God is always very close.

Job was attacked, but he wasn't abandoned.
Jesus was tempted, but He wasn't defeated.
Paul was afflicted, but he wasn't disqualified.

You know that satan can fight you but he does not have the authority to finish you oo.

That is why you must understand not only how the enemy operates, but most importantly what Jesus has accomplished for you on the cross of calvary.

Because when you don't know your victory, you can spend your life fighting battles Jesus already won.

“Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them.” Colossians 2:15

Satan most times comes to steal believers peace and you should know that he is too small to steal the peace Jesus purchased for you, 'unless' you give his voice more authority than God's Word.

So live conscious of Christ's victory on the cross, by this, your peace cannot be taken away.

The devil may knock.
Fear may whisper.
Trials may come.

But you don't have to surrender your peace to devil and his activities.

Jesus has already won.

And you should know that, the greatest revelation in a battle is not how powerful the enemy is, but how much authority you have because of Christ. Shalom

One day, this body you are struggling to maintain will become completely unrecognisable. 😭🔥

And if you make it to eternity with Christ, you may look back at this present body and wonder how you ever cried over its limitations.

Jesus gave us a little glimpse of what our resurrected bodies will be like, and honestly, it is mind blowing! 🤩

After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples in His glorified body. They could see Him. They could touch Him. He could suddenly appear in their midst, even when the doors were shut. He could eat with them, yet He was no longer living under the limitations of His mortal body.

Now imagine what it will be like when this mortal body finally puts on immortality. 😭❤️

No sickness.

No weakness.

No ageing.

No hospital bed.

No tears.

No death.

A body that will never break down again. A body perfectly suited for eternity with Christ. 😭🔥

Paul understood something many of us struggle to understand. He said, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21 KJV

Abeg, what exactly are we fighting so hard to hold on to here? 😭

The money will finish. The beauty will fade. The applause will stop. The things we lose sleep over today will eventually become memories.

But eternity?

Eternity does not expire.

Scripture says, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV

So please, don't exchange something eternal for something temporary.

One day, all of this will pass.

And when that day comes, may we be among those who can say:

“It was worth choosing Christ.” 😭❤️🙏

Have you ever stopped to think about how strange and beautiful the love of Jesus really is?🤔

The Creator became like His creation.

The One who had no sin carried the sins of those who did.

The Judge stepped into the place of the guilty and paid the price Himself.

Honestly, our little human minds cannot fully comprehend a love like this.

We were born into sin, and if God judged every one of us strictly by what we have done, who would still be standing today?

But instead of giving us the punishment we deserved, He gave us Jesus. ❤️

And that kind of love demands a response.

We shouldn't love Jesus only when life is making sense. Some follow Him when everything is going well, but abandon Him when things become difficult. Others run to Him when life is painful, but forget Him when everything becomes rosy.

But our circumstances should never determine our commitment to Christ.

Job lost almost everything, yet he held on to God:

“Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.” Job 13:15

That should be our heart too.

When the prayer is answered, love Him.

When the answer is delayed, love Him.

When there is plenty, love Him.

When there is lack, love Him.

When you understand what He is doing, love Him.

When you don't understand, hold on anyway.

Because Jesus didn't love us only on the good days.

He loved us all the way to the cross.

So let our love for Him go all the way too. ❤️

Don't let a difficult season make you forget the One who never forgot you.

Will you still hold on to Jesus when life doesn't look the way you prayed it would?

You pray for grace in whatever you do, but you reject Christ. Don’t you know accepting Jesus is accepting grace?

Grace is not just a word we use when we want things to work in our favour. Grace is found in a Person, and that Person is Jesus Christ. You cannot continually reject the Giver and expect to fully embrace what He gives.

The Bible says, “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” John 1:17 KJV

Jesus is not only the One who gives you grace to succeed. He is the greatest expression of God’s grace towards humanity. Before asking God for grace for your plans, career, marriage, business or future, have you accepted the greatest gift of grace, Jesus Christ?
