Today at Tesiverse Innovation , we put our students to the test with an exciting AI Challenge:

And honestly… they did beautifully! 👏🏽👏🏽

From the very beginning, we saw:

🎤 Confident and presentable presentations

What made today special was not just the final ideas, but the process behind them. Watching the teams brainstorm, challenge each other, build their ideas and finally present their work was amazing.

Both Team Apple 🍎 and Team Pineapple 🍍 showed us that when young minds are given the right tools, guidance and environment, they can create incredible things.

At Tesiverse Innovation, we are not just teaching people how to use AI. We are building thinkers, creators, problem-solvers and innovators.

Today, everyone was a winner. 🏆

On Thursday, Tesiverse Innovation Network was honoured to be present at the official launch of the Programme in Kaduna represented by Munirat Odufa Zubairu.

The event also featured the Press release of an Issue Brief titled, “Bridging the Gender Digital Divide: Artificial Intelligence as a Driver of Economic Growth in Nigeria.”

The conversation highlighted the importance of addressing the barriers that continue to limit women's participation in the digital and technology ecosystem and the need to create more inclusive opportunities for women and girls to actively participate in and benefit from the opportunities presented by technology and Artificial Intelligence.

The SheBuilds AI Fellowship, implemented by Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI) in partnership with YandyTech Community funded by Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) is designed to equip young women and girls with valuable skills in areas including Artificial Intelligence, data science, technology, leadership and entrepreneurship.

At the launch, the programme, its structure and objectives were introduced, alongside the first cohort of 20 fellows who will be part of this journey for the next 6months.

As an organisation committed to creating opportunities for young people to learn, explore and build in technology, it was inspiring to witness an initiative focused on ensuring that more women and girls are not left behind as technology continues to evolve.

, shared her personal journey and encouraged the fellows to take the opportunity seriously.

Having personally benefited from an empowerment programme that helped shape her journey into technology, her message to the fellows was simple: opportunities like this can be transformative, but what you do with the opportunity matters.

To the 20 selected SheBuilds AI Fellows: this is only the beginning.

Be curious. Ask questions. Learn. Build. Make mistakes. Connect. Explore.

The world is evolving rapidly, and the future will be shaped by those who are willing to learn, adapt, create and innovate.

We’re excited to continue our journey of empowering the next generation with technology! 🎉

Today, we had an insightful and engaging learning session with Munirat Odufa Zubairu, a Data Analyst with Omeva Consulting and an advocate for the ethical use of technology, who shared practical knowledge and guided the learners through the world of technology, coding, and AI.

It was amazing to see the teens ask questions, participate actively, and demonstrate genuine curiosity about how technology works.

Week 2 is another step toward building confident, innovative, and future-ready young minds.

At Innovation, we believe that the earlier young people are exposed to technology, the better prepared they become for the future.

Our Coding & AI Class for teens officially kicked off yesterday, and what an incredible first day it was! 🚀💻🤖

The curiosity, excitement, and enthusiasm these young minds brought into the classroom were truly inspiring. From asking brilliant questions to exploring the world of coding and Artificial Intelligence, they showed that age is never a barrier to innovation.

It was amazing to see how quickly they grasped new concepts and how eager they were to learn, create, and solve problems. The future is indeed bright when we invest in our children today.

At Tesiverse Innovation Hub, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to develop the digital skills that will shape tomorrow. This is just the beginning of an exciting journey, and we can't wait to see what these young innovators will achieve in the coming days.
