Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei has threatened to “send” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “to hell” if tensions with Israel escalate again.

Rezaei also warned that Iran could target U.S. economic interests in the region if the U.S. blockade continues.
The threats come as Washington intensifies economic pressure on Tehran through its newly launched

“Operation Economic Outcast” campaign, while President Trump says the U.S. is not currently negotiating with Iran.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has mocked Washington’s latest Iran policy, calling it a “pure parody.” Baqaei criticized the U.S. effort to build an anti-Iran coalition, pointing to Bahrain’s limited economic ties with Iran as an example.

He also ridiculed Washington’s move to halt Iranian sports and academic exchanges, saying many of those activities had already been largely inactive.

His remarks followed a new U.S. economic pressure campaign targeting Iran and entities maintaining business ties with Tehran.

Iran has reportedly made an end to ongoing wars in West Asia, particularly in Lebanon and Gaza a condition for any potential agreement with the United States. Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said the issue of the Strait of Hormuz is linked to ending the conflicts in the region, especially in Lebanon and Gaza.

Iran’s stated conditions also include an end to the war in Lebanon and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory that Iran describes as occupied. Rezaei has also linked the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to Washington meeting Tehran’s broader demands.
