Life always doesn’t go the way we want it. And that truth can feel uncomfortable. We plan, we hope, we pray, and yet life still unfolds in ways we didn’t expect. Sometimes what looks like a setback is protection. And sometimes, what breaks our plans is what builds our strength.

So when life doesn’t go your way, don’t lose your way. Stay grounded. Stay hopeful. Keep showing up. Because even in the uncertainty, there is purpose being formed and in time, you’ll see that not everything that didn’t work out was a loss. Some of it was alignment.

*Not Every Voice Deserves Authority in Your Life*

One of the most important lessons you will ever learn is this: Not every voice deserves authority in your life.

People will always have opinions.They will speak based on their experiences, their wounds, their fears, their limitations and sometimes, their ignorance.

But here is the truth, just because a voice is loud does not mean it is right. Just because someone speaks with confidence does not mean they carry truth. And just because they are close to you does not mean they should define you.

You must learn to filter voices.

If you don’t, you will find yourself:

Shrinking because someone couldn’t see your worth

Doubting yourself because someone spoke from their insecurity

Living beneath your potential because you handed over your authority

Not every voice has earned the right to shape your identity.

Some voices are meant to guide you.Some are meant to correct you.But many are simply noise—and you must be disciplined enough to silence them.

Ask yourself:

Does this voice align with who I am becoming?

Does it push me forward or pull me backward?

Is it rooted in truth, love, and wisdom or in control and negativity?

You don’t grow by listening to everyone.You grow by listening to the right ones.

And sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is to say: “I hear you, but I do not receive that.”

Guard your mind. Protect your identity.Choose your voices wisely.

Because the voices you give authority today…Will shape the life you live tomorrow.
