AT 80+, ABDULSALAMI ABUBAKAR QUESTIONS ATIKU’S 2027 PRESIDENTIAL BID: “NIGERIA NEEDS LEADERS IN THEIR 50s AND 60s”
Former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar (Rtd.), has questioned the decision of his longtime friend, Atiku Abubakar, to seek the presidency again, arguing that Nigeria needs younger leaders capable of handling the demands of the office.
He said Atiku could instead play a role in promoting peace and credible elections, while acknowledging that it remains within Atiku’s constitutional right to contest.
