WHEN A CHILD IS NO LONGER SAFE EVEN WITH THEIR OWN PARENT, WE HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM. 💔

The disturbing cases of adults ş€xüãlly abüş!ñg minors are becoming impossible to ignore. And what makes some of these stories even more heartbreaking is that the danger is not always a stranger outside the home.

Sometimes it is a relative.
Sometimes it is someone trusted by the family.
And in this recent viral case, a parent was reportedly arrested after admitting to facilitating the s€xüäl exploitation of her own child for money.

At what point do we say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?

Poverty cannot justify this. Money cannot justify this. Being someone’s parent, relative, teacher, neighbour, or guardian should NEVER protect anyone from facing the consequences of abusing or facilitating the abuse of a child.

The government and justice system need to treat crimes against minors with the seriousness they deserve. Anyone convicted of s£xüãlly abüs!ñg a child and anyone who knowingly hands a child over to be abüsẽð should face severe prison sentences and strict enforcement of the law.

Children are depending on adults to protect them. Imagine the trauma when the very person they trust for protection becomes the person exposing them to harm. 💔

We cannot keep watching these faces and stories trend for a few days and then move on.

Protecting children should never be negotiable. Let the punishment be strong enough to make anyone thinking of touching a child THINK TWICE.
