“So guys, I actually created this skirt for myself… and the funny thing is, I had no plan for it. 😂
I went to the market, saw this beautiful Ankara print, bought it, and decided I was going to make sure I used every bit of the fabric.
I just wanted something free, comfortable and easy to wear—something I could literally put on and be ready in two minutes.
So I started cutting… and somehow, this happened. 😂
I went for a full-circle flare, added the different fabric panels, a pocket, and this little drama in front because apparently, I couldn't just make a ‘normal’ skirt. 😂
And the best part?
No zip. No stress. Just elastic and you're good to go.
It's giving ‘zip skirt’ without actually having a zip. 😂
The first time I wore it, the compliments started coming:
‘Wow, your skirt is so nice!’
And I'm like… thank you, I made it myself! 🥹❤️
Sometimes, you don't need to have everything figured out before you create.
You just start with what you have, experiment a little, and see where your creativity takes you.
And honestly?
I'm really proud of how this one came out.”
