My papa dey do birthday. He say we fit invite our friends. I invite my bad boiz dem. Our house get space for backyard.

Na there I dey with my friends. We don buy drinks plenty come. I drink Calypso reach one level, omoh, ah lost begin yarn rubbish oh.

"If your papa go come here now, na wahala oh" One of my friend talk.

That night, when the cook serve dinner. Senator Ambali call Isaac to the dining, to eat.

The maid serve them. The house manager, Moon father, stand for one corner as usual. He dey always stand there if Senator Ambali wan chop.

As Isaac pick spoon to eat, the plate move swiftly on its own, off the table, and the food spills on the floor.

Moon father look surprise. He no dey sure of wetin he see. He tell the maids make them clean am up at once and call the cook to come and serve Isaac again.

As he wan eat again, the same thing happen.

"What is going on with you, Isaac? Are you alright"? Senator Ambali ask.

Two men stand for him front. They hold knife for hand. Dem dey look am.

"What is going on? Untie me"!

Hakeem and Moon father walk to Isaac, from behind. Dem dey smile.

"Welcome back,boy" Moon father talk.

Isaac no dey too surprise.

""Wetin you want with my daughter"? He ask Isaac.

"Ah no get intention to hurt your daughter. I love her and...and I wan prove to her, that I truly love her. Please let me go"

"I want a clean job" Moon father tell the men. Him and Hakeem begin walk away.

One of the men bring out a pistol, nd shoot Isaac on the chest. He tumble with the chair, land for ground.

Blood dey gulp from Isaac chest as e dey for ground. The man return the pistol inside his pocket. He and the other walk to Isaac and untie him. Then they begin to remove him clothes. They wan cut him body to pieces for easy disposal.

All of a sudden, Isaac gasp for long. And then sit up like a vampire. The men jump back with fear. Az how!? Isaac reach for one of their matchete and hack one of the men on the forehead. The man fall on his back with the machete stuck to his forehead.

Isaac stand up quickly and the other man attack him. He begin punch Isaac aggressively towards the window.

They both hit the window wey no get burglary nor cover, nd they both fall over.

They fall from the fifth floor of the uncompleted building and land on the concrete floor, in front of Hakeem nd Moon father, wey just dey walk out of the building.

They stop immeadiately with their jaws dropped.

They walk close to their mutilated body.

Isaac begin to move with the sounds of move cracking....

Isaac wait till night come. He sneak out of the mansion.

He wear cover head sweater. He put the well sharpened machete for armpit. He put him hands inside the sweater pocket as he walk along the road.

Isaac arrive at the house. Nobody dey for front of the house. But the house geh fence.

Isaac climb the fence, and jump into the compound. As e land, dog begin bark.

Suddenly, Isaac see say light bulbs dey turn on. Na sign say residents don suspect say e be like say pesin don enter the compound. He quick hide for the back of drum of water wey dey one corner.

He dey there for like ten minutes. He no move. The lights go off and the dog no bark again.

Isaac tiptoe to the entrance door. He see say na iron So, no way to break in.

He return home.

The next day, Isaac put the machete for him skool bag, go skool. After he finish lecture, he wait for Moon and her boyfriend. Luckily, Moon no follow her boyfriend go house. So, isaac follow am quietly.

The guy stop for T-junction, make call. He come wait. After some minutes, a lady walk to him. They hug, kiss, begin walk home togeda.

"😡 So, his hediot dey even cheat on Moon" he talk to himself.

Isaac let them walk into compound. He wait.

After few minutes, he first shadow. When he see say coast don clear, he approach he building. He jump the fence into the compound. The dog begin bark again. This time, he no send the dog. He just dey approach the door and the dog dey bark angrily.

Suddenly, the door open and the guy walk out of the entrance door. He shock when he see isaac.

"Who are you? Wetin you want"? The guy ask.

"Can you please leave Moon alone? I love her". Isaac respond.

" What?" The guy mutters.

"I know say you dey see another gurl. She even dey inside your room like this. So, abeg, leave her alone"

"Bro, she know say ah geht someone else and she no care, as long as she have me. Shey you understand...? How you take enter sef"?

The guy enter house. As e wan bang the door,Isaac push the door back. The door hit the guy unexpectedly and he fall. Isaac enter begin open bag. The guy stand up begin run up the stairs. Isaac run after him.

The guy run enter living room, run pass the gurl, enter one room, lock the door.

The gurl jump and scream with fear wen Isaac run into the living room with machete.

"Where is he"? Isaac ask the gurl.

The girl point hand.

"Open the door or else ah go kill her"

"Leave or else ah go call police"! The guy scream from inside the room.

Isaac notice two phones for table.

"You dey bluff. How you wan call police when your phones dey here"?

" 😭What is going on"? The girl ask.

Isaac walk close to the girl with the machete for hand.

Door lock turn and Hakeem walk out of the room with him hands raised.

THE COOK

If you dey chop pepper, no read oh.

My papa invite some members of the prayer warrior come house, to entertain them after a program. My mama come dey prepare rice and stew for them.

So, as she dey prepare the stew, my papa call my mama say dem wan pray for her. She come quickly temme say make I use the small plastic spoon, take salt, make e reach half, make I put for the stew.

Mistake wey I do be say, I carry the container close to the soup. As I wan remove salt with the spoon, the container just drop for my hand, turn upside down, face the stew.

I fess freeze. I quickly remove the container, but about 30kg of salt don enter the soup, even come outside like mountain inside the soup. I quickly pack some comot, but plenty don melt and sink inside the soup. I quickly add small water, turn am. When I taste am...oh Lord Jesus! E be like make pesin dey chew raw salt.

I begin shake. This one na big disgrace for the family. How my mama wan tell my papa say soup never ready?

Naso my mama rush back say oya say she and one of the men wan get something for bustop, make I serve them, put one meat one fish for each person, make I do fast.

JESUS! How I wan tell my mama? She go kee me.

Naso I call my junior brother join body so that if complain reach my papa, we go kolet wotowoto togeda.

Na my brother dey put rice, na me put stew.

We serve everybody round for dining table. Me I know say dem no fit chop until dem pray. So, I set everything before them, put the drinks. My papa sit for sofa dey discuss with them, na there we serve my papa.

Naso I tell my brother say, "brother, run for your life" He say why? I say just run for your life. He no answer, he still go sit beside my papa. He wan do atenu, say our papa go remain for am.

Me, I run for my life, go backyard go stand for sitting room window.

Dem come pray.

My papa begin shout my name from inside. We come jam for parlor door. As he say make e use vess punch me for face like this, naso I dodge am. My papa panelbeat the man punch for jaw. Naso the man stagger go back sit down for floor. As I see blood and see my papa put hand for waist open mouth, naso I p*k race because I know say it is finished.

Report reach headquarters say my papa wan kee them. He give them salt make dem chop still come comot pesin teeth. Dem suspend my papa oh.

But, my papa suspend my good health oh. He panelbeat my body with koboko wey be say the mark turn to crawcraw. I even geh psychological issue. Na small e remain the beating for make me craze kpatakpata.

‎Issac na 10 years old when he arrive at the Jeffery's house. Na him be the oldest among the kids wey dey that house.

‎E no take time at all before Mr and Mrs Jeffery fall in love with Isaac. He dey very smart, intelligent, quiet and well behaved.

‎
‎Mr and Mrs Jeffery don born three girls before, Paulina, Beauty and Lizzy. They adopt Isaac because they want boi and Mrs Jeffery no ready to born tru Caesarian operation again.

‎The girls begin hate Isaac, because their parents don too focus on him.

‎At the end of the school term, Isaac top his class. The gap wey dey between him and others in that class no be here. Even the school celebrate him..Mr and Mrs Jeffery throw mini party for Isaac because of the excellent performance. They invite their children's friend from around and from skool.

‎Isaac no get close relationship with any of the friends wey come.

‎As the party dey go on, Isaac sisters gang up with three other girls. Them begin use Isaac play, dey laff am say e be adopted child wey no get parent. When Isaac no fit take am again, he walk inside and lock himself up inside his room. He begin cry.

‎Mr and Mrs Jeffery no know anything about everything wey apun at the party. Isaac no tell them.

‎Isaac sisters no stop to dey taunt Isaac, since that day, because dem see it as the only way to make him feel bad. But everytime, he dey always walk away..

‎One evening, Isaac dey play with the family dog, for garden. Paulina friend, Bella, also enter the garden. She tell Isaac say she wan play with the family dog. Isaac refuse.

‎Bella enter house, go tell Isaac sisters. They all come outside to question Isaac. Isaac no talk. Paulina give Isaac one hot slap. The other girls also punch him and call him names.

‎When Mr and Mrs Jeffery return, them see say Isaac no come out of him room, to greet them, as usual. Mrs Jeffery suspect say something don happen. She ask the girls but dem no talk anything.

‎Mr and Mrs Jeffery come knock Isaac door, tell am make he come outside. When he come out, they see bruises all over his face and hands. They did not even ask him what happened. They already know.

‎Mr and Mrs Jeffery punish the girls severely and ask them to apologize to Isaac.

‎Na wetin come make the girls hate Isaac the more, be that.

‎
‎One evening, Isaac sit for garden when the family dog begin bark at him for no reason. He pursue the dog but e no go. The barking come dey high and the dog dey near am.

‎Something brew inside Isaac. He stand up. The dog jump on him and Isaac grab it by the head, like say he grab rat.

‎"😡 So, you sef hate me!!?! Isaac yell.

‎He tear the dog mouth into two in seconds and throw the body on the ground

‎Him body calm. Him eyes clear. He don kill family dog. Omoh see gobe! He begin think of wetin him go do...@11 years old.

‎
‎He sneak enter house. Everybody dey watch TV n e dey loud. He carry shovel and sneak out.
‎
‎
‎He bury the dog inside a shallow grave, at the back of the house.
‎
‎
‎Later that day, dem begin find the dog. Isaac sef join them, to search for the dog.
‎
‎
‎A day pass by and nobody see the dog. The Jeffery's begin think say person don steal the dog. Not until two days later when Mr Jeffery go to the back of the house to check the Dstv dish, and notice a fresh dug out sand. He become curious. He go carry shovel inside house n dig up the place. See smell. He see the dog. Right away, he know say na Isaac. The girls no fit do this one.

‎Mr and Mrs Jeffery punish Isaac well well. And since then, their relationship break down. How 11 years old boi go kill dog, bury am? and he no even gree tell them wetin the dog do or how it happened.

‎
‎Isaac sisters like wetin dey happen. They like as attention don return to them. And them dey ready to do anything in their power for things to remain like that.

‎
‎When their parent no dey, dem no dey give Isaac food, because na only Paulina fit serve good if their mama no dey, and them notice say unlike before, their parents no care about him again... since the dog incident.

‎
‎One afternoon, hunger waya Isaac sotey, he no fit bear am anymore. He sneak enter kitchen, carry food. He sit for one corner of the kitchen dey rush the food.

‎He no know say him sisters dey watch am. Naso dem enter kitchen.
‎
‎
‎"How dare you touch the food without telling me"? Paulina queried.
‎
‎
‎"😢 You no give me food and I dey hungry"

‎
‎Paulina hiss, walk to Isaac n kick the plate away. The food pour for floor.
‎
‎
‎Something brew in him. Just like the day he kill the dog. He stand.
‎
‎
‎"You shouldn't have done that 😡" Isaac talk.
‎
‎
‎Paulina and the girls laff. Then Paulina slap Isaac again. They believe say him dey helpless.

‎"No ever talk back at me again. You are not a part of this family. Go look for your mother! Your mother abandon you! Your mother is a whoooore!' Paulina, a nawty 10 years old girl, talk at Isaac, like an adult.

‎Something possess Isaac and he move like robot. He carry tumbler, and smash it on Paulina head. Paulina go down straight, in an awkward manner.

‎
‎Beauty and Lizzy scream with fear. Instead make them run away. They run at Isaac. Isaac carry a part of the broken tumbler wey dey for ground. He grab Beauty and begin to stab the left side of the neck. Lizzy dey Isaac back dey beat am. She no know wetin dey apun for front.

‎
‎As Isaac dey stab Beauty non stop, blood na water oh, wah da sheet!All him face, na blood. Lizzy come begin see blood for floor. A 7 years old girl. She fess leave Isaac turn. Na that time Isaac release Beauty. Beauty land for ground like sack of sugar. Lizzy scream with the whole of her might. She no fit move. She just dey shake, dey cry.

‎"😭 😭 😭 pleas....pleas...please...." Lizzy dey stammer, dey shake.
‎
‎
‎She turn at once and start to run towards the door, screaming. Isaac reach him like flash and grab her. He fling her trowey like say she be parker. Lizzy hit the kitchen cabinet with a thud. She feel pain but she no care. She wan escape. She get up quickly snd begin to throw things at Isaac.
‎
‎
‎Finally she pick a knife. The knife sef big pass her hand.
‎
‎
‎Car horn. Their parents don come. Lizzy begin scream, "Help! mummy! daddy!"
‎
‎
‎Isaac attack. Before she raise the knife, Isaac don reach her. He grab her neck and press it hard. He choke her n she drop the knife. She begin beat Isaac to free herself.
‎
‎
‎She taya. Her eyes turn red. She begin jerk. Isaac no leave her till her heart stop.
‎
‎
‎
‎"Where is everyone"? Mrs Jeffrey ask as she enter house.
‎
‎
‎Isaac hear. He tiptoe to the back of the kitchen door. He think of wetin him go do. He see pestle for back of door and carry it. Him sef wonder aw him get strength to carry the pestle. He wait.
‎
‎
‎The kitchen door open. Mrs Jeffrey enter. She see the girls and scream. She run to them and kneel. She begin weep. Isaac no move. He know say he fit handle Mrs Jeffery anytime. Na Mr Jeffrey matter.
‎
‎
‎Mr Isaac run in. He hear the scream. He no believe him eyes. He put hand for head. Isaac sneak on him and hit him on the knee, with the pestle. Mr Jeffery groan loudly, come stagger go front. Isaac wan hit am again. He dodge and kick Isaac in the stomach with the other leg. Isaac fly, hit back of head for wall, land for ground, faint.

‎Mr Jeffery run to the girls. He begin cry with him wife wen he realize say them don dye.

‎Anger fill Mr Jeffrey soul. He get up and run out of the kitchen. He run to their room to get his pistol. When he return to the kitchen, Isaac don go. Mrs Jeffery lie for floor dey jerk. Broken tumbler dey stuck for side of her neck. Blood dey gush.

‎Mr Jeffery cry and scream loudly.
‎
‎
‎He race out of the kitchen with the pistol, and begin to search for Isaac. Isaac don run enter their garden, go hide for back of tree. He for leave the house kpatakpata, but gate don lock.
‎
‎
‎Mr Jeffery find everywhere inside house, for Isaac, he no see am. He enter garden dey find am. Him hand dey the guun trigger.
‎
‎
‎
‎Isaac make move. Mr Jeffery fire. He miss. Isaac run and hide behind the second tree. Mr Jeffery fires at the tree.
‎
‎
‎
‎Neighbors call police asap.
‎
‎Mr Jeffery bullet finish. He throw the gun down and run to the tree. Isaac pick race. He pursue him and catch him in no time. He carry him and throw him to the ground with full force. He sit on Isaac, begin punch him face non-stop.
‎
‎
‎He break Isaac nose, jaw, even pluck him teeth, all with punches. Isaac no know where him dey again. Mr Jeffery stand, and begin to drag Isaac back into the house. Blood dey draw line for ground as he dey drag Isaac go. When they reach inside the living room. He dey look the body, dey think of wetin him fit do, to him. He dey boil with anger. 11, years old boi don wipe out him family. A boy wey him use him money bring under him roof, dey cater for.

‎Police arrive, jump fence enter, as neighbors dey shout for them say the man wan kill him son.
‎
‎
‎Mr Jeffery remember the pestle. He enter kitchen go carry am. As he return, wey him raise the pestle, to scatter Isaac head, police enter.
‎

‎"Don't move! Police!
‎
‎
‎Mr jeffery stop. And then Isaac open his eyes, look at Mr Jeffery,and smile at him.
‎
‎
‎"😡 ahhhhhh!" Mr Jeffery anger boil again. He forget the warning and move. He wan break Isaac head.

‎"🔥pha!"

‎
‎Police shoot Mr Jeffery.
