Sanctification is more than abstaining from sin; it is the continuous work of God in the believer, conforming us to the image of Christ. It is expressed through a life of love for God and sincere worship flowing from a heart that has been set apart for Him.
As our love for Him deepens, our desire to please Him grows. True worship and genuine love are not merely acts we perform; they are fruits of a life being sanctified by the Spirit.

In Romans 12, Paul exhorts believers not to be conformed to this present age but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds. As he unfolds what a transformed life looks like, he confronts one of the greatest enemies of Christian community: self-preservation.
The tendency to protect self, promote self, and prioritize self stands contrary to the life of Christ. Instead, Paul calls believers to genuine love, selfless service, and a lifestyle that prefers others in honor. The Kingdom advances where self is denied and love is expressed
