Sometimes, they just need the right information and space to start asking better questions.

That’s part of the future we want to help young people prepare for through EmpowerED Teens.

We heard this firsthand during our AI Launchpad programme.

One of the teenagers told us they wanted to become a physiotherapist. But when we asked about the challenges standing between them and that dream, their answer wasn’t about their ability.

They were worried about getting into university because they didn’t believe the system would favour someone like them.

That conversation stayed with us.

Young people shouldn’t have to shrink their dreams based on what they think is possible for someone from their background or community.

Sometimes, exposure is the first step.

Sometimes, it is having someone say, “You can do this.”

And sometimes, it is simply giving a young person the opportunity to see possibilities they had never considered before.

That is why we do what we do with Empowered Teens.
