🇺🇬 UGANDA JUST JAILED A WOMAN FOR CALLING THE PRESIDENT'S SON A "STUPID CABBAGE" YES, A CABBAGE! 🥬

Her name is Praise Aloikin a human rights lawyer, fearless anti corruption activist, and 2025 EU Human Rights Defenders Award Winner.

Her crime? She called General Muhoozi Kainerugaba President Yoweri Museveni’s son and Uganda's Chief of Defence Forces, a full 4 star General a "STUPID CABBAGE."

For that word, she has been ABDUCTED and thrown in prison until 14th October 2026.

Let me break down how insane this is:

THE TIMELINE:

Praise publicly criticizes Muhoozi on social media. Calls him a "stupid cabbage."

Days later, September 2025, she is abducted. Not invited by police. ABDUCTED.

Then they remand her to prison.

Official charge? "Unlawfully using a SIM card registered in her mother's name."

SIM card? The same charge they use to silence activists?

Everyone knows why she is really in jail. For insulting the untouchable First Son.

Uganda authorities say "she was lawfully arrested."

Lawfully arrested for a word?

THINK ABOUT IT:

A full General. Chief of Defence Forces. Commander of the entire Ugandan army. With guns, tanks, soldiers.

And his ego is so FRAGILE, he cannot handle being called a cabbage by a young woman.

A CABBAGE. 🥬

If you have that much power, why are you scared of words?

This is not power. This is sheer cowardice and fragile ego.

Praise Aloikin fought corruption for the poor. She fought for you. Now she is sitting in a cold prison cell because a General's feelings were hurt.

Today it's Praise. Tomorrow it could be you for a tweet.

We cannot be silent.

🇳🇬 OSITA AGWUNA: THE 26 YEARS OLD PRINCE WHO WENT TO JAIL SO ZIK, AWO AND BELLO COULD BECOME "HEROES" 🇳🇬

Everyone knows Zik, Awo, and Ahmadu Bello.

NOBODY knows the young man who went to PRISON so they could sit down and negotiate independence with the British on a platter of gold.

His name is OSITA AGWUNA (1921-2007).
A Prince. A Revolutionary. A Prisoner. And later, a King.

This is the story they deleted from your history textbook.

WHO WAS HE?

Born December 22, 1921, into the royal Agwuna family of Enugwu-Ukwu, Anambra.

This was not a poor boy looking for trouble. He was brilliant, handsome, eloquent. A Manager in Training at UAC the Dangote Group of his time, the biggest company in all of Nigeria.

He had a bright future. He threw it away for YOU.

He resigned and became President of the ZIKIST MOVEMENT the radical, militant, no-nonsense youth wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe's NCNC.

While the elders were writing grammar and petitions to the Queen, the Zikists said: "We want ACTION. We want REVOLUTION."

THE NIGHT HE SHOOK THE BRITISH EMPIRE OCTOBER 27, 1948

Venue: Tom Jones Memorial Hall, Lagos.

A 26 years old Osita mounts the podium. No fear. And drops one of the most dangerous speeches ever made in Nigeria:

🔫 "Nigeria is a POLICE STATE. The redemption of Africa lies in the hands of Africans themselves and must be achieved by either violent revolution or non-violent revolution. Positive action, including strikes, boycotts and civil disobedience, is necessary to liberate Nigerians from colonial rule."

He was not begging the British to leave. He was telling Nigerians to FORCE them out.

The hall went silent. The British were SHOCKED.

They declared him wanted.

Three days later, in a move that stunned the whole nation, Osita walked himself to the police station and said: "Arrest me."

THE TRIAL THAT MADE HISTORY

In court, he did something even crazier. He told the white judge:

"You have NO jurisdiction to try me. You are both the accuser and the judge!"

For sedition, they sentenced him to 3 YEARS AND 6 MONTHS of hard labour.

2 years in Kirikiri Maximum Prison, Lagos.
1 year 6 months in Kaduna Prison.

Anyone who dared to print or read his speech was also jailed. At Onitsha Main Market, one man built a small wooden stage and started reading the banned speech to traders they arrested him too.

But that was Agwuna's plan all along. He BELIEVED his arrest would provoke mass outrage and wake up the whole country.

And it WORKED. His imprisonment became a national scandal. It radicalized a whole generation. The independence fire that Zik and Awo later used to negotiate was lit by Osita's prison cell.

FROM PRISON TO PALACE

After independence struggle, Osita did not run to Lagos to chase minister appointment. He went home to serve his people.

In 1958, he became Eze Enugwu-Ukwu na Igwe Umunri a throne he held for nearly 50 YEARS until his death in 2007.

As Igwe, he became a different kind of revolutionary:

💎 A living library of Igbo culture and tradition.
💎 Wrote books on Igbo customs that we still use today.
💎 Founded the FIRST museum in the entire South East in 1957 in Enugwu Ukwu to save our artifacts from being stolen.
💎 He modernized traditional rule and gave us the title "IGWE" that title you hear everywhere in Igboland today? He introduced it.

He was royal by birth like Mandela, radical by choice like Sankara.

SO WHY IS HE FORGOTTEN?

This is the painful part.

Nigeria gave national honours, airports, and stadiums to men who negotiated independence on a platter of gold as Zik himself called it.

But the young men who actually lost their jobs, ruined their careers, faced the baton and colonial jail Osita Agwuna, Anthony Enahoro, Sa'adu Zungur, Michael Imoudu were left in the cold.

Till TODAY, Osita Agwuna has NEVER received a posthumous national honour.

In 2025, his former Regent, Chief Donald Nwandu, had to WRITE to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation to BEG President Tinubu's government to honour him.

A man who gave his youth for this country is being begged for.

WE MUST REMEMBER HIM.

If the labours of our heroes past shall never be in vain, then we must remember WHO they are.

Rest in Power, Osita Agwuna. The Forgotten Hero.

"I'm only doing these because I don't know what to do with money. The more I spend, the more I get."

1989 money was different. This man was living in 2050.

A sharp eyed student, Mahmoud A. Sarhani, posted the photos online and said: "Brothers, this is not a zebra. This is my neighbor's donkey with paint."

Internet EXPLODED.

Zoo management said: "NO! It IS a zebra! You are lying!" They denied it with full chest.

Until animal experts zoomed in and said: "My friend, that zebra is braying like 'hee-haw'."

The paint was literally dripping in the Cairo heat!

Then the final plot twist: An official later confessed: "Okay okay, it's a painted donkey. But it's not OUR fault, the supplier brought it like that." 😭

They blamed the supplier for supplying a fake zebra!

He was studying to become a doctor and opened his medical textbook... and realized something shocking.

ALL WHITE.

How do you diagnose eczema, jaundice, or cancer on Black skin when you've never seen what it looks like on Black skin? How does a Black mother see herself in a medical book?

Doctors were being trained to treat only white bodies.

So Chidiebere didn't complain. He picked up his pen.

He started drawing what the billion-dollar publishers refused to draw:

✅ A BLACK fetus in the womb
✅ Black skin showing symptoms
✅ Black anatomy, beautiful and accurate

One illustration went viral and the whole world stopped. For the first time, millions of Black people saw themselves in medicine.

Today, his drawings are in GLOBAL medical textbooks. He is forcing the world to see us. He is saving Black lives with art.

He didn't just draw pictures. He drew REPRESENTATION into existence.
