• Talent Management: It is tasked with access to local Nigerian talent and serves as the A&R partner for artists like Omogo Reloaded, securing the culturally authentic product.

• Operational Evidence: The track "Father" was explicitly recorded at Mawobe’s African studio in Meiran, Lagos, Nigeria. Mawobe Commercial Enterprises (NG) and ResQ Records (USA) jointly present Afrofusion Music.

2. Primary Roles of ResQ Records (Indiana, USA)

ResQ Records (formally ResQ Ranjazz International) is the commercial, legal, and administrative engine for the North American market, deliberately anchored in Elkhart Township/Goshen, Indiana.

• Commercial and Legal Backbone: It functions as the crucial commercial and legal backbone of the operation. Its establishment in the US is considered a strategic legal and financial decision.

• US Publishing and Royalty Collection: ResQ Records is defined as a sound production and music publishing company. Its most critical role is its formal affiliation with ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers). This affiliation ensures the securing and collection of performance royalties in the United States.

• North American Operations: It handles US distribution, branding, and digital distribution. ResQ Records also specializes in Artist Public Relations, including music video production, image making/branding, marketing, and talent management.

• Cross-Continental Flow: ResQ Records receives foundational recordings that often start in Lagos at Mawobe Records and are then finished or mixed in Indiana. Its purpose is to process and distribute content globally via the US entity. The label is strategically located in the Midwest to retain the legal advantage of US incorporation and ASCAP affiliation while minimizing the high operational overhead of coastal industry centers.
