Let’s be honest with ourselves for a moment.
How many men can comfortably eat tomatoes, watermelon, carrots, cucumber or eggs regularly?
Now, how many will say, “I don’t have money for those things”?
Yet somehow, there is money for beer every weekend. Sometimes every day.
There is money for ci******es, late-night drinking, oversized portions and a lifestyle that slowly damages the body. But when it comes to simple foods that provide vitamins, minerals, fibre and antioxidants, suddenly, “things are expensive.”
Think about that.
Tomatoes contain lycopene, an antioxidant that has been studied for its potential relationship with prostate health. Watermelon also contains lycopene, while carrots and cucumbers provide useful nutrients as part of a balanced diet.
This doesn't mean eating tomatoes or watermelon can guarantee that you will prevent prostate disease. Your overall diet, weight, physical activity, age, family history and other health factors matter too.
And then there is exercise.
Some men are barely 20 and already carrying significant belly fat. No regular exercise. Long hours sitting down. Alcohol. Poor diet.
Then they say:
“I want to live to 80.”
Brother, what are you doing today to give your body a chance to get there?
Nobody is saying you need an expensive diet. Sometimes, healthier choices are much simpler than we make them.
Eat the tomato.
Eat the watermelon.
Add vegetables to your meals.
Choose eggs when you can.
Drink more water.
Move your body.
Reduce excessive alcohol.
And stop waiting until your body starts complaining before you start taking care of it.
Your health is not something you should only remember when you become sick.
So, gentlemen, let's talk:
What is one healthy food you can afford to add to your diet this week — and what unhealthy habit are you willing to reduce?
Your future self may thank you for the choices you make today.

When was the last time you paid close attention to your breasts?
Not because you are afraid.
Not because someone you know has cancer.
But simply because your health deserves your attention.
Breast cancer continues to take the lives of thousands of women around the world. In 2024 alone, an estimated 694,000 people died from breast cancer globally, while about 2.4 million women were diagnosed with the disease.
And here is something we must take seriously:
Many breast cancers are detected when they have already become advanced.
In parts of Africa, delays in recognising symptoms, getting a proper diagnosis and starting treatment remain major challenges.
So, please don't ignore your body.
LOOK. FEEL. NOTICE. ACT.
Get familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel.
During a self-check, pay attention to changes such as:
- A new lump or thickening in the breast or armpit.
- A change in the size or shape of the breast.
- Dimpling, redness, pitting or unusual changes in the skin.
- A change in the appearance of the ni**le.
- Unusual ni**le discharge, especially bloody discharge.
- A breast wound or sore that does not heal.
- Any change that is new, unusual or persistent.
A lump does not automatically mean cancer. In fact, most breast lumps are not cancerous. But a new or unusual lump should not simply be ignored. Please have it checked by a qualified health professional.
DON'T WAIT FOR PAIN
This is important.
Breast cancer lumps can sometimes be painless.
So don't tell yourself:
"It doesn't hurt, so it must be nothing."
Pain is not a reliable way to decide whether a breast change is serious.
If you notice something unusual, seek medical advice.
LADIES, KNOW YOUR BODY.
Take a few minutes to look at yourself.
Feel for changes.
Know what is normal for you.
And if something changes, speak up.
Do not be embarrassed.
Do not hide it.
Do not wait for it to become unbearable.
Do not rely on someone saying, "It will disappear."
Early diagnosis can make a significant difference. WHO states that breast cancer mortality is reduced when cases are detected and treated early.
AND MEN, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TOO.
Breast cancer is not only a women's issue.
Around 0.5–1% of breast cancers occur in men.
If you notice an unusual lump or change in your chest or ni**le, don't ignore it simply because you are a man.
LET'S TALK ABOUT IT.
Have you ever checked your breasts for unusual changes?
Have you encouraged your mother, sister, wife, daughter or friend to pay attention to their breast health?
Sometimes, one conversation can encourage someone to seek help early.
Sometimes, noticing one small change can lead to a diagnosis before the disease becomes much more difficult to treat.
Your body speaks. Learn to listen.
This is not about living in fear.
It is about living with awareness.
Check. Notice. Speak up. Seek medical care.
Let's make breast cancer awareness more than a yearly campaign.
Let's make it a habit.

MONDAY REMINDER: GOD GAVE YOU INTELLIGENCE FOR A PURPOSE.
If He created you with a brain and limbs, it is so that you can use them to be useful to yourself, your family, and your community.
Because a being who is not useful to the world, who is not useful to their community, I would say, is an enemy of God.
Sometimes, God is angry with us for not being useful and for not using our brains to work.
And it's as if we were telling God that He was wrong to give us intelligence.
People sit around and still expect everything from God. It's because we've been conditioned to believe that we must expect everything from God. And God doesn't like that.
You are intelligent. Here you are today, the best. You have intelligence. You must use your intelligence for yourself, your family, and your homeland—that is to say, the community in which you live.
If you do not contribute anything to your community, you are an enemy of God.
And the pursuit of this knowledge must be constant. God will not come to do it for you.
This Monday, don't just pray for opportunities. Use the intelligence, strength, and abilities God has already given you. Work. Learn. Create. Contribute. Be useful.

Today, let us simply say: Thank You, Lord.
Thank You for the blessings we can see, and even more, for the blessings we cannot see. Thank You for the doors You closed to protect us, the battles You fought without our knowledge, the dangers You kept us away from, and the prayers You answered in ways we may not yet understand.
Thank You for life, for strength, for family, for provision, for protection, and for every little mercy that we sometimes take for granted.
Lord, we also thank You for the blessings that are still ahead of us. We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we trust that You are already there. Thank You for the opportunities, breakthroughs, answered prayers, peace, healing, favour and beautiful moments that You have prepared for us.
If all we have today is the ability to wake up, breathe, hope and keep going, there is already a reason to be grateful.
May we never become so focused on what we are waiting for that we fail to appreciate what we have.
Thank You, God, for yesterday, for today, and for the blessings yet to come.
Happy Sunday to you and your loved ones. May this Sunday bring peace to your heart, gratitude to your spirit, and renewed hope for the week ahead.

Wishing you a peaceful weekend, free from worries and stress. May your heart find rest, your mind find calm, and may you have reasons to smile.
Mindsets That Will Help You in Marriage and The 7th One Is A Must!
Change “The man is the provider” to “We provide for our family together.”
Change “His money and my money” to “Our money and our financial goals.”
Change “Who earns more?” to “What can each of us contribute?”
Change “My expectations” to “Our expectations.”
Change “Love will solve all our problems” to “We must learn how to communicate and solve problems together.”
Change “My spouse owes me a particular lifestyle” to “We will build our lifestyle together.”
Change “What can I get from this marriage?” to “What can we build together?”
And if you have a goal you want to achieve as a couple — maybe travelling outside the country, buying land, building a home, starting a family business, investing, or simply becoming financially stable — you can always re-adjust your lifestyle and priorities around that goal.
You may need to reduce unnecessary spending, save more intentionally, support each other financially, and make sacrifices for a season.
It is not about who is spending more or who is contributing more. It is about understanding what you are both trying to achieve and working together to get there.
Save together. Invest together. Plan together. Grow together.
A strong marriage is not just about loving each other. It is also about having a shared vision and being willing to build towards it as a team.
When two people stop competing and start building together, they can accomplish a lot.
This is one blueprint for building a stronger marriage.
Wishing everyone a beautiful and peaceful weekend. May our homes be filled with love, wisdom, understanding and the grace to build something meaningful together.
Happy weekend @ LOAVES OF LOVE FOUNDATION
The fastest road to failure is to keep waiting for someone to help you succeed.
Bro, don’t put your faith in people’s promises.
Do the much you can and do it as if everything depends on it. At the end of the day, that may be the only progress you would make.

You complain too much my friend. The world is unfair to everyone. Understand that you are in a ring of war and no one is coming out alive or unscathed. You will be bruised, broken, battered, and burned. The only trophy is to survive long enough and you can’t do that on your knees complaining.
Accept that there’s no mercy here.
Accept that you will never have it all figured out.
Accept that you will lose so many times.
Accept that you will make costly mistakes.
Accept that you will be loved, hated and betrayed.
Accept that you are not immune to the troubles of this life.
Accept that you may possibly not last the next minute.
But most importantly, accept that you are capable of becoming the king of the ring.
Again, the rules of the world are set by wolves and it’s unfair to the weak and naive.

IS A FISHY VAGINAL SMELL NORMAL?
Ladies, let’s talk about something many women experience but may feel uncomfortable discussing: va**nal odour.
First, let’s clear something up.
A healthy va**na does have a natural smell. It does not need to smell like perfume, flowers, or scented soap. Its natural scent can vary throughout the menstrual cycle, after exercise, during pregnancy, or after s*x. A mild, natural or slightly tangy smell can be completely normal.
But what about a strong fishy smell?
No, a persistent fishy va**nal smell is generally not considered healthy or normal.
One common cause is bacterial vaginosis (BV), which happens when the normal balance of bacteria in the va**na changes. BV can cause a noticeable fishy odour, sometimes accompanied by thin greyish or whitish discharge. The smell may become more noticeable after s*x or during menstruation.
However, a fishy smell does not automatically mean BV. Other va**nal infections or conditions can also cause unusual odour, so it is important not to diagnose yourself based on smell alone.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
If you notice a persistent or strong fishy smell:
• See a healthcare professional for proper examination and testing, especially if there is unusual discharge, itching, burning, pain or discomfort.
• Avoid douching. The va**na naturally cleans itself, and douching can disturb its normal bacterial balance.
• Wash the outside of the va**na (the v***a) gently with water. Avoid harsh soaps, perfumes and scented va**nal products.
• Keep the area dry and change out of sweaty or wet underwear promptly.
• Wear breathable underwear, such as cotton, and avoid staying in tight, damp clothing for long periods.
• Do not use antibiotics or va**nal medications without proper advice. The right treatment depends on the actual cause.
And please remember: having an unusual va**nal smell does not make you dirty. Vaginal health is part of normal health, and infections can happen to anyone.
If the smell is new, strong, persistent or accompanied by other symptoms, don't ignore it. Getting checked early can help you identify the cause and receive the appropriate treatment.
Your va**na doesn't need to smell like perfume to be healthy. But a strong, persistent fishy odour deserves attention.
Ladies, have you ever heard someone say that a healthy va**na should have absolutely no smell? Let's talk about it respectfully in the comments.
