To every first daughter, the one who grew up too fast, the girl who is expected to be strong, responsible, understanding, and dependable. The one who is often told, “You’re the firstborn, you should know better.” The one who carries family expectations quietly, even when she is tired too.
You are allowed to be soft too.
You don’t always have to have the answers. You don’t always have to be the strong one. You are allowed to make mistakes, ask for help, choose yourself, rest, cry, be taken care of, and simply be someone’s daughter.
May you never lose yourself while trying to hold everyone else together.
Happy International First Daughter Day to me💕💃💃

You cannot build a permanent legacy on temporary values. Short-term wins and quick hype fade, but integrity, vision, and unwavering principles build foundations that endure.
As we countdown to AFLCA 2026 under the theme Beyond Leadership: Building Legacy, we are challenging visionary leaders across Africa to evaluate the principles driving their growth.
To transform a continent, our foundations must be as solid as the future we dream of.
