Topic: Lord, Let Thy Will Be Done

Good morning, beloved.

Challenges indeed are part of life. Sometimes the path is plain and easy; sometimes it is rough. Sometimes things move smoothly, and at other times everything seems mistimed and difficult.

There are moments when we pray and ask God, “Lord, can you please change this situation? Can you make this person love me? Can you remove this problem? Can you deal with this evil person?” We complain, we lament, and sometimes we even become frustrated because we want God to answer us according to our own desire.

But today, God is asking us a different question: “What about My will?”

Jesus was facing a very difficult moment. He knew what was ahead of Him. He knew the pain, rejection, suffering and death He was about to experience. Naturally, He desired that the cup would pass from Him. Yet, He did not stop at His desire. He surrendered it to the Father and said, “Nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”

That is the kind of surrender God wants from us.

Sometimes we ask God to change the situation, but God may be using that situation to change us. Sometimes we ask Him to remove a person, but He may be teaching us patience, wisdom or forgiveness. Sometimes we ask Him to open a particular door, but God may be protecting us by keeping that door closed.

It does not mean we should stop praying for what we desire. Jesus prayed. But after expressing His desire, He surrendered to the Father's will.

There is a difference between saying, “God, give me what I want,” and saying, “God, I desire this, but above everything else, let Your will be done.”

God sees what we cannot see. He knows tomorrow better than we know today. His will may not always be comfortable, but it is always worth trusting.

So today, instead of constantly asking, “Lord, why is this happening to me?” ask, “Lord, what is Your will in this situation, and help me to follow it?”

Maybe the answer you are waiting for is not the answer you expected. Maybe God is asking you to wait. Maybe He is asking you to let go. Maybe He is asking you to forgive. Maybe He is preparing you for something greater.

Whatever it is, trust Him.

Father, not my will, but Your will be done.

May we have the grace to accept God's will even when it is difficult, to trust Him when we do not understand, and to follow Him even when the path is not clear.

Topic: *Don’t Live Only for Yourself*

“For even Christ didn’t live to please himself...” Romans 15:3 (NLT)

Jesus is our perfect example. He had every reason to think about Himself, but He chose to put others before Himself. He endured insults, rejection, pain, and suffering, yet He kept loving and serving people.

Sometimes, we want everything to go our way. We want people to understand us, appreciate us, respect us, and treat us well. But following Christ means learning to look beyond ourselves.

Ask yourself today, Am I always thinking about what I can receive, or am I also thinking about what I can give?

You may be tired, but someone may need your encouragement. You may be hurting, but someone may need your kindness. You may not have much, but you can still give your time,yes your prayers, your love, or a listening ear.

Living like Christ does not mean allowing people to take advantage of you. It means choosing love even when selfishness would be easier.

Today, let your life point people to Jesus. Let your words encourage someone. Let your actions show kindness. Let your heart become less concerned with “What about me?” and more concerned with “How can I reflect Christ here?”

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me to become more like You. Remove selfishness from my heart and teach me to love, serve, forgive, and consider others. Help me not to live only for myself but to live in a way that brings glory to You. Amen.

Topic: *I Am Not a Mistake*

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

Good morning.

Many times I have found myself asking God, "Are You sure You aren't making a mistake? It's me, that imperfect girl. Are You sure You haven't mistaken me for someone else? I don't even deserve Your love, let alone Your blessings or the privilege of coming into Your holy presence."

But as I continued to walk with God, I realized that those thoughts were not the voice of God,they were the voice of guilt. God's Word reminds us that "the gifts and calling of God are without repentance" (Romans 11:29). When God calls, He does not change His mind because of our weaknesses.

You are not an accident. You are not a mistake. Before you were formed in your mother's womb, God knew you. He knew every day of your life before you were born (Psalm 139:13–16). You are not where you are now by mistake,it was all programmed by God.He created you with purpose, called you by name, and has a plan for your life.

Do not allow guilt, shame, or your past to convince you that you are disqualified. If God has called you, He will also equip you. His grace is greater than your failures, and His purpose for your life still stands.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You because I am not a mistake. Thank You for knowing me before I was born and for calling me according to Your purpose. Help me to reject every lie of guilt and shame and to walk confidently in the identity You have given me. Let Your will be fulfilled in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*"Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth."*

Good morning.

Have you ever seen the righteous completely forsaken by God? Have you ever seen those who truly trust in Him abandoned without help? There may be moments when help seems delayed, but God's delay is never His denial. He works according to His perfect time, and His timing is always the best.

No matter what you are facing today, remember that God has not left you alone.

First, He is always present. Psalm 46:1 reminds us that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." His presence never departs from His children, even in their darkest moments.

Second, He is our true source of help. Psalm 124:8 declares, "Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth." Human help has its limits, but the help that comes from God never fails. As Psalm 60:11 says, "Vain is the help of man." When God steps in, no situation is beyond His power.

Third, He strengthens and upholds us. In Isaiah 41:10, God says, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee... I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." God does not only promise help; He promises His presence, His strength, and His sustaining hand.

Whatever you are trusting God for, do not lose heart. The God who made heaven and earth is still your Helper. He has not forgotten you, and He will come through at the appointed time.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You because You are my ever-present Helper. I choose to trust You even when I cannot see the way ahead. Strengthen me, uphold me, and let Your help locate me in every area of my life. May I never depend on the arm of flesh but continually put my confidence in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*Topic: Can You Just Trust Him?*

Memory Verse: Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Good morning, everyone.

Let me ask you a simple question: Can you really trust God when you don't understand what He is doing?

Trust is one of the hardest things to do. Even in our relationships with people, trust can be difficult. We have been disappointed, betrayed, or let down, and sometimes we carry that same mindset into our relationship with God.

One Bible character I deeply admire is papa Abraham. He is called the father of faith because he trusted God completely. God told him to leave his homeland without showing him the full picture. Papa Abraham didn't know where he was going, where he would live, or what the future held, yet he obeyed because he trusted God.

Then came an even greater test. God asked Abraham to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice. Can you imagine what must have been going through his mind as he climbed that mountain? He didn't argue. He didn't delay. He didn't lean on his own understanding. He trusted the God who had never failed him before.

That is exactly what our memory verse teaches us:

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart."

Not with half of your heart.
Not only when prayers are answered.
Not only when life is going well.
Not only when everything makes sense.

Trust Him with all your heart.

Then the Bible says, "Lean not unto thine own understanding." There will be moments when God's plans do not make sense. There will be prayers that seem unanswered and doors that seem closed. But God's wisdom is far greater than ours.

The Bible says in Psalm 118:8:

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."

People may disappoint you, but God never will.

And Psalm 125:1 says:

"They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever."

When things are not working, trust Him.
When things are working, trust Him.
When life is full of ups and downs, trust Him.
When you cannot see the next step, trust Him.

Remember, faith is not knowing every detail; faith is knowing the One who holds every detail.

So today, I leave you with this question:

Can you just trust Him?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You because You are faithful and You never fail. Help us to trust You with all our hearts and not depend on our own understanding. Give us the grace to obey You even when we cannot see the whole picture. Strengthen our faith and teach us to rest in Your promises. In Jesus' name, Amen.

What Helps a Child Focus in the Classroom?

One of the questions parents and teachers ask most is, "Why can't this child pay attention?"

The truth is, focus is not something children simply have or don't have. It is a skill that develops when the right environment and support are provided.

Here are some things that can help a child stay focused in the classroom:

1. Adequate Sleep

A tired child will struggle to listen, follow instructions, and remember what was taught. Preschool and primary school children need enough sleep every night for their brains to function well.

2. A Healthy Breakfast

Children learn better when they are not hungry. A balanced breakfast gives them the energy they need to concentrate and participate in class.

3. A Calm and Safe Environment

Children who are worried, anxious, or afraid often find it difficult to focus. They learn best when they feel safe, loved, and accepted.

4. Limited Screen Time

Too much time on phones, tablets, or television can make it harder for children to stay attentive during lessons. Set healthy limits and encourage more hands-on play.

5. Movement and Play

Children are not designed to sit still all day. Regular physical activity helps release energy and improves concentration when it is time to learn.

6. Encouragement Instead of Constant Criticism

Children who are always corrected may become discouraged and stop trying. Praise their effort first, celebrate small progress, and gently redirect mistakes.

7. Hands On Learning

Children focus better when they can see, touch, build, sing, draw, or participate in activities rather than just listen to long lectures.

8. A Strong Relationship with the Teacher

Children learn better from adults they trust. A warm smile, kind words, and genuine interest in a child can make a huge difference in their willingness to learn

When we understand the child, we can better support the child.

Parents and teachers, remember this: A child who feels seen, understood, and encouraged is far more likely to stay engaged and enjoy learning.

*Topic: Take God Seriously*

Text: Micah 6:8 (MSG)

*"...Don't take yourself too seriously—take God seriously."*

Our focus today is on those four words: "Take God seriously."

We live in a generation where everyone is busy. We are chasing success, trying to make ends meet, building careers, growing businesses, studying for exams, and trying to survive. In the midst of all this, many have forgotten the One who gave them life.

The Bible says in Galatians 2:20 that the life we now live is lived through Christ. Every breath we take is a gift from Him. The oxygen we breathe belongs to Him. He sends the rain, He provides our daily bread, and He alone has the final say over our lives.

The question is: *Do we really take God seriously?*

How much time do we spend with Him every day?

If we are not on Facebook, we are on TikTok. If not TikTok, we are watching movies or scrolling through our phones for hours. Yet when it is time to pray or study God's Word, we suddenly become too busy or too tired.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." God has never asked us to put Him second. He desires to be first in our lives.

Taking God seriously means giving Him our time, obeying His Word, trusting His plans above our own, and living every day with the understanding that our lives belong to Him.

Today, let us examine our hearts. Is God truly our priority, or has He become an option? Can we still sincerely pray as Jesus did in Luke 22:42, "Not my will, but Yours be done."

*Prayer*

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word. Forgive us for every way we have placed other things above You. Create in us a heart that seeks You above everything else.

Help us to take You seriously in our words, our actions, our decisions, and our daily lives. Give us the grace to spend time in Your presence, to obey Your Word, and to seek Your will above our own.

May our love for You grow deeper every day, and may our lives bring glory to Your name.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Children are always listening,yeah you heard me right.

The words they hear every day slowly become the voice inside their heads.

So please choose words that build them, not words that break them.

1. "I love you."
They should never have to wonder if they are loved.

2. "I'm proud of you."
Celebrate their effort, not just their achievements.

3. "You can do it."
Your belief in them gives them courage to keep trying.

4. "It's okay to make mistakes dear."
Mistakes are opportunities to learn, not reasons for shame.

5. "Thank you."
Show them that respect goes both ways.

6. "I'm sorry."
When you're wrong, apologize. It teaches humility and accountability.

7. "I believe in you."
A child who knows someone believes in them is more likely to believe in themselves.

Never forget: your words are planting seeds. One day, your child will live from what you consistently spoke into their heart.

As a child, I used to envy Job.

Not because of his wealth, but because of the way God spoke about him.

"Have you considered My servant Job?"

Imagine God Himself describing someone with such confidence: "He is blameless. He is upright. He fears Me. He shuns evil."

Every time I read those words, my heart would whisper, "Lord, when will You speak about me like that?"

When will You say, "Have you seen My servant Imma? There is no one like her. She loves Me. She obeys Me. She honors Me even when no one is watching."

That has become one of the deepest desires of my heart.

Not to be known by people, but to be known by God.

Not to impress the world, but to make my Father proud.

Lord, help me to live a life that brings You joy.
May my life become a testimony You can confidently speak of.

I want to make You proud, Lord.
