We grew up afraid of our parents.
Our kids? They present arguments, ask follow up questions, request extensions, and somehow win the case. 😂

One minute they’re roasting us with savage comebacks, the next minute they’re asking, “Mum, what’s to eat?” 🤣

We discipline them, laugh with them, play games together, share jokes, and somehow became their safe place and their best friend all at once.

It’s a beautiful, hilarious balance—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

I was watching a video with my son one day, and the speaker said, “Money doesn’t buy happiness.” My son immediately chuckled. I looked at him and asked, “Why are you laughing? Do you think money buys happiness?” Without hesitation, he said, “Yes.”

That caught my attention, so I asked him why. It made me realize that, to a child, money means toys, fun experiences, vacations, and all the things they enjoy. So, from his perspective, it made perfect sense.

It also reminded me that the saying isn’t completely wrong or completely right. Money can buy comfort, security, and opportunities that contribute to happiness, but it can’t buy genuine love, meaningful relationships, good character, or inner peace. Maybe the better way to say it is: money can make life easier, but it can’t guarantee happiness.

In this day and age where what kids are interested in is being on their tabs 247… I was so impressed when my son brought home a novel from his school library to read today ….One day we stepped out to use a photo studio and immediately he got in he grabbed a book from the shelf and the woman had to commend him for doing that…stating it’s hard to find kids do that nowadays ゚viralシ
