If I should give our love story a title it will be *"Jehovah Answers My Heartfelt Prayers with Signs and Wonders"* 😁

Get yourself some popcorns and chilled drinks as I'm gonna narrate our love story for you to enjoy and learn more about how wondrous Jehovah works 💪🏼

I started associating with Central Ota French Congregation sometimes in September, 2023. On getting there I was welcomed by everyone including a light complexion sister who welcomed me warmly as well 🌝, I was very attentive to her welcome since I was single and searching together with the fact that she's my spec 👌🏼, I so much love fair skinned ladies 😩😆.

It didn't took me long before I decided to ask her out, after some attempts she accepted that we should be dating, so I decided to visit her mum to make it more serious, on getting to meet her mum after some introductions we got to know that we're related from my maternal side, it was so heartbreaking 💔, unfortunately the beautiful fair skinned lady I've been crushing on happens to be my sister 🤦🏽‍♂️.

After some months we attended our circuit assembly where I took pictures with some brothers and sisters, after the program my ex, now my sister 🤣 was going through the pictures on my phone so she saw some pictures I took with Nancy she now told me that I and Nancy looks good together that I should make a move, 🤥 I was very angry to the extent that I warned her seriously never to tell me that again all because I don't like dark complexion ladies 😁, a brother also talked to me but I totally declined. Funny enough I now decided to ask Nancy herself if she has any sister that's fair skinned that she can give me, she now sent me pictures of two of her sisters on seeing their pictures I was really intimidated by their stature 😆, they're bigger than me I look so small and vulnerable compared to them in stature, so it's a big no for me.

As time went on I was very tired and lonely I seriously need to get something done I can't continue this way, so I turned to Jehovah, I started praying in that regard I was very precise in my prayers "I need a marriage mate 🙇🏽‍♂️". So one day after praying and asking Jehovah to guide me I got dressed for work on the way to work at the bus stop I saw her waiting for bus, yes Nancy she was the one I saw, at that very moment it was as if Jehovah was beside me saying it directly to my ears that "Akin! That's your wife!!!" Instead of me to wait to at least give her a lift since she was clearly stranded waiting for bus I just zoomed off with anger all because I still insisted I don't want a dark lady, as how now? I don't want ni seh, nah yellow pawpaw I want 😭😭🫣.

So I continued with my prayers, I now started begging Jehovah to please let his will be done in my life, if Nancy is my wife I want to see clear signs 🙏🏼. So the following congregation meeting day I was so surprised that we wore the same cloth exactly the same colour 🥹 so I decided to take some pictures with her after meeting, on the way home with her mum her mum told her that it seems I'm interested in her o incase I ask her out she should accept, then she told her mum that "that broda keh? He's only interested in a very young lady that's fair in complexion, I'm not his spec o 💔". Then again our next meeting the same thing happened we wore another clothes that's different from the previous but it's still the same colour as if we've planned to 🧐, this time around I started to take it seriously then I intensified my prayers.

After some time we attended our circuit assembly, yet again I saw another sign, unknowingly I sat right behind her and her family, her mum saw me first she now called her attention then I saw them as well, will you believe that it's still the same clothes we wore, this time around it's the same material, same texture, the same colour gold that's even different from the previous ones o🧎🏾, so at that point I believe the signs and wonders are enough I have to take action now, enough is enough 😂 but unfortunately I'm too shy to make a move or I should say I'm ashamed to even open my mouth and tell her anything all because of the things I've said earlier, I've vowed that I will never go for a dark complexion lady like her, never ❌. But thanks to some dear friends that Jehovah used to encouraged me not to get discouraged.

Here we're today, I'm married to my beautiful wife, my beautiful ebony, my melanin popping 😍.

I'm so grateful to Jehovah for gifting me such a treasure 🤲🏽🧎🏾.
