*What is Osteonecrosis?*
Osteonecrosis is a bone disease. It results from the loss of blood supply to the bone. Without blood, the bone tissue dies. This causes the bone to collapse. It may also cause the joints that surround the bone to collapse. If you have osteonecrosis, you may have pain or be limited in your physical activity.
Osteonecrosis can develop in any bone, most often in the:
i. Thigh bone (femur).
ii. Upper arm bone (humerus).
iii. Knees.
iv. Shoulders.
v. Ankles.
It is also called:
Avascular necrosis.
Aseptic necrosis.
Ischemic necrosis.
*Symptoms*
Many people have no symptoms in the early stages of avascular necrosis. As the condition worsens, your affected joint might hurt only when you put weight on it. Eventually, you might feel the pain even when you're lying down.
Pain can be mild or severe and usually develops gradually. Pain associated with avascular necrosis of the hip might center on the groin, thigh or buttock. Besides the hip, the areas likely to be affected are the shoulder, knee, hand and foot.
Some people develop avascular necrosis on both sides (bilaterally) β such as in both hips or in both knees.
*Risk factors*
Risk factors for developing avascular necrosis include:
1. Trauma. Injuries, such as hip dislocation or fracture, can damage nearby blood vessels and reduce blood flow to bones.
2. Steroid use. Use of high-dose corticosteroids, such as prednisone, is a common cause of avascular necrosis. The reason is unknown, but one hypothesis is that corticosteroids can increase lipid levels in your blood, reducing blood flow.
3. Excessive alcohol use. Consuming several alcoholic drinks a day for several years also can cause fatty deposits to form in your blood vessels.
4. Bisphosphonate use. Long-term use of medications to increase bone density might contribute to developing osteonecrosis of the jaw. This rare complication has occurred in some people treated with high doses of these medications for cancers, such as multiple myeloma and metastatic breast cancer.
5. Certain medical treatments. Radiation therapy for cancer can weaken bone. Organ transplantation, especially kidney transplant, also is associated with avascular necrosis.
Medical conditions associated with avascular necrosis include:
i. Pancreatitis
ii. Diabetes
iii. Gaucher's disease
iv. HIV/AIDS
v. Systemic lupus erythematosus
vi. Sickle cell anemia

*Warning Signs of Inflammatory Arthritis*
There are many forms of inflammatory arthritis;
signs that are typical for most include:
**Pain, swelling and stiffness in one or multiple joints*
**Morning stiffness in and around the affected joints lasting at least one hour*
*Pain and stiffness that worsens with inactivity and improves with physical activity*
*Reduced range of motion*
*Sometimes fever, weight loss, fatigue and/or anemia*
*How many joints does it affect?*
*Usually affects multiple joints*
Different types of inflammatory arthritis have differing patterns of joint involvement. For example rheumatoid arthritis tends to be symmetrical, involving joints on both sides of the body (e.g. both hands, both elbows, etc.) whereas psoriatic arthritis maybe symmetrical or asymmetrical
*Warning Signs of Osteoarthritis*
Very early symptoms of osteoarthritis are intermittent pain with strenuous activity; over time, the pain is present more often
Morning stiffness or stiffness after a period of inactivity, usually lasting less than 30 minutes
*Joint grinding*
*How many joints does it affect?*
Usually a few joints or a single joint, often with asymmetrical joint involvement early on (e.g. one knee may be affected but not the other)
*What joints can be affected?*
Weight-bearing joints, such as hips and knees
Neck
Lower back
Hands
*Is glutathione good for arthritis?*
In harmony, GSH is a good supplement for RA which can regulate immune cells preventing them from attacking the normal body cells. GSH can neutralize free radicals which can destroy tissues and muscles of the joints. It increases body energy and owns anti-inflammatory effect
*TESTIMONY β RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS*
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2010. Ever since I have been going to RMS in Jos to see a rheumatologist. I am always on drugs which have so many side effects and the end result is not encouraging. I became so tired of taking these drugs I began to search for ways my body will stop attacking itself. My system had stopped reacting to the drugs I was on, and I was even on new drugs. It was during my research that I found Cellgevity from Max and Immediately got interested. I am now on my 2nd week of taking Cellgevity and I am improving drastically, my bones are getting repaired day by day and now I can even do a lot of things which I could not do before. I am so happy now that I am seeing improvement.
Cellgevity works! We have something that must be sharedβ¦.

Belly fat is a gateway to back pain/spinal issues that can lead to various health problems.
Imagine carrying a child weighing 10kg on your shoulders for about 30 minutes. After some minutes you will start feeling pains on your hand and the back.
Why on the back?
Every pound (0.5kg) on the body equals 4 pounds (2kg) of pressure on the spine. Someone who weighs 200 pounds (100kg) is putting 800 pounds 400kg of pressure on their spine. This may come as a surprise for many, yet it is true.
Meaning 10kg of the child's weight equals 20kg pressure on the spine and the same thing goes for extra belly fat.
Think of it like this: extra weight = extra stress on the spine and joints.
Excess belly fat eventually causes the pelvis and lower back to slant forward. This creates a permanent and round arch in the back, which causes back pain. I'm very sure many mothers can relate with this during pregnancy.
Now imagine carrying this extra weight for many years, there is definitely going to be wear and tear within the joints and dislocation of the back bone.
The wisest thing to do is to put down the child to relieve your back of the pressure caused by the weight giving you back pain. Same goes for the belly fat and the excess body fat which is the leading cause of back pain. Cutting down your weight stops the pressure (inflammation) and boosts your immune system naturally to fix the damages.
Belly fat (Visceral fat) is the most dangerous and difficult fat to burn in the body but with Meta-Switch it's an easy ride. Meta-Switch activates your AMPK enzyme naturally just like exercise/diet restrictions and equally gives you both benefits.
Nothing can replace the role of physical activities so we strongly recommend 30 minutes to 1 hour walk 3 times in a week if your lifestyle is sedentary. Instead of flying a bike or driving to that junction just take a walk.

*The Complete Sciatica Guide*
Sciatica refers to pain that radiates along the path of the sciatic nerve, which branches from your lower back through your hips and buttocks and down each leg. Typically, sciatica affects only one side of your body.
Sciatica most commonly occurs when a herniated disk, bone spur on the spine or narrowing of the spine (spinal stenosis) compresses part of the nerve. This causes inflammation, pain and often some numbness in the affected leg.
Symptoms
Pain that radiates from your lower (lumbar) spine to your buttock and down the back of your leg is the hallmark of sciatica. You might feel the discomfort almost anywhere along the nerve pathway, but it's especially likely to follow a path from your low back to your buttock and the back of your thigh and calf.
The pain can vary widely, from a mild ache to a sharp, burning sensation or excruciating pain. Sometimes it can feel like a jolt or electric shock. It can be worse when you cough or sneeze, and prolonged sitting can aggravate symptoms. Usually only one side of your body is affected.
Symptoms includes:
Numbness, tingling or muscle weakness in the affected leg or foot. You might have pain in one part of your leg and numbness in another part.
You have sudden, severe pain in your low back or leg and numbness or muscle weakness in your leg
The pain follows a violent injury, such as a traffic accident
You have trouble controlling your bowels or bladder
Causes
Sciatica occurs when the sciatic nerve becomes pinched, usually by a herniated disk in your spine or by an overgrowth of bone (bone spur) on your vertebrae. More rarely, the nerve can be compressed by a tumor or damaged by a disease such as diabetes.
Risk factors for sciatica include:
Age. Age-related changes in the spine, such as herniated disks and bone spurs, are the most common causes of sciatica. Most people who get sciatica are between 30 and 50 years old.
Obesity. By increasing the stress on your spine, excess body weight can contribute to the spinal changes that trigger sciatica.
Extra pounds can put pressure on your spine, which means people who are overweight and pregnant women have a greater chance of getting a herniated disk.
Occupation. A job that requires you to twist your back, carry heavy loads or drive a motor vehicle for long periods might play a role in sciatica, but there's no conclusive evidence of this link. Lots of heavy lifting -- or prolonged sitting -- can damage disks.
Prolonged sitting. People who sit for prolonged periods or have a sedentary lifestyle are more likely to develop sciatica than active people are.
Diabetes. This condition, which affects the way your body uses blood sugar, increases your risk of nerve damage. Diabetes can cause nerve damage.
Complications
Sciatica can potentially cause permanent nerve damage.
Loss of feeling in the affected leg
Weakness in the affected leg
Loss of bowel or bladder function
Prevention
It's not always possible to prevent sciatica, and the condition may recur. The following can play a key role in protecting your back:
Exercise regularly. To keep your back strong, pay special attention to your core muscles β the muscles in your abdomen and lower back that are essential for proper posture and alignment. Ask your doctor to recommend specific activities.
Maintain proper posture when you sit. Choose a seat with good lower back support, armrests and a swivel base. Consider placing a pillow or rolled towel in the small of your back to maintain its normal curve. Keep your knees and hips level.
Use good body mechanics. If you stand for long periods, rest one foot on a stool or small box from time to time. When you lift something heavy, let your lower extremities do the work. Move straight up and down. Keep your back straight and bend only at the knees. Hold the load close to your body. Avoid lifting and twisting simultaneously. Find a lifting partner if the object is heavy or awkward.
*TREATMENT*
Sciatica affects the inside of your body, especially the groin and spine region. The main goal of Sciatica treatment is to control the inflammation that causes numbness and spine pains and nerve damage. This will ease your pain, help prevent further damage and aid healing.
Deficiency of Glutathione has been linked to be the major cause of Oxidative stress in the body. Therefore raising Glutathione levels in the body controls the inflammation causing the immune system to attack healthy cells and tissues in the body. This also improves insulin sensitivity.
Low levels of ATP have been researched to cause disconnectivity among nerves therefore increasing ATP levels restored communication among the nerves leading to a healthier nervous system.
And Riboceine technology in Max products has been scientifically proven to be 300% more effective at raising Glutathione levels in the body naturally without any known side effects. RiboCeine is a combination of D-ribose and L-Cysteine, D-ribose helps with the production of ATP while L-Cysteine with Glutathione productions.
Once your glutathione and ATP level is up your body's healing ability is activated and a miracle begins to happen.

*Inflammation* is part of your bodyβs defense mechanism and plays a role in the healing process.
When the body detects an intruder, it launches a biological response to try to remove it. The attacker could be a foreign body, such as a thorn, an irritant, or a pathogen.
Pathogens include bacteria, viruses, and other organisms, which cause infections.
Sometimes, the body mistakenly perceives its own cells or tissues as harmful. This reaction can lead to autoimmune diseases, such as diabetes and arthritis.
Experts believe inflammation contributes to a wide range of chronic diseases. People with these chronic conditions often have higher levels of inflammatory markers in their bodies.
In this article, you will find out more about why inflammation happens, its symptoms, and ways to resolve it.
