BREAKING: Armed Bandits Attack Odo-Eri in Yagba West, Abduct Two Residents

Residents of Odo-Eri community in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State were thrown into panic few minutes ago, May 20, 2026, following a reported attack by armed bandits.

According to reports gathered, the attackers reportedly abducted a Fulani man identified as Bube alongside one of his cattle rearers during the attack, which occurred around 9:00pm.

The latest incident is coming less than 48 hours after an intelligence report published on May 18, 2026, warned about the movement of armed bandits from the Babanla Forest in Kwara State into parts of Yagba West through the Okoloke bush path.

Following the development, residents of communities including Ejiba, Odo-Eri, Egbe, and surrounding areas have been advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movement to security agencies.
