ANDONI ELECTRIFICATION PROJECT MOVES TO ASARAMA, UNYEADA, NGO AXIS.
[ConnectAndoni News Desk]
The ongoing electrification project initiated by the Chairman of Andoni Local Government Area, Hon. Lucky Promise Otuo, has extended to the Asarama, Unyeada and Ngo axis, bringing renewed hope to residents across the communities.
The project, which commenced in the middle of this year, started around the Isiokwan axis, covering communities including Ibotirem, Dema and Otunria, and has now progressed to other parts of the local government.
Although residents in the benefiting communities are yet to see actual power supply, the ongoing work has generated optimism among the people, who are hopeful that the project will be completed by December as anticipated.
Residents believe that the eventual completion and energisation of the project will provide a significant boost to businesses and economic activities, while improving living conditions and creating new opportunities for people across the affected communities.
The electrification initiative is also expected to support small businesses, improve productivity and reduce some of the challenges residents face as a result of inadequate electricity supply.
With work continuing across the various axes, residents are looking forward to the completion of the project and the eventual restoration of regular electricity supply to their communities.
