Success is not an accident. It is a decision made daily. And in the life of PROF. (ARC.) ABDULLAHI ABUBAKAR, (FNIA) that decision has been made thousands of times.

His story is not just a story of degrees and titles. It is a story of resilience and the quiet refusal to quit when the road gets long. It is a story of commitment the stubborn belief that excellence is not negotiable.

To master Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning, Quantity Surveying, Research, Medicine, and Programming in one lifetime is to declare war on limits.

Most people stop after one challenge. Prof. Abdullahi Abubakar turned every challenge into a classroom. While others were looking for shortcuts, he was in lecture halls. While others were looking for reasons to rest, he was looking for the next skill that would make him more useful to his nation.

From Pre-ND to PhD in Architecture. From ND to HND, BSc, MSc, PhD.
But he did not stop there. He gathered 7 Degrees, 5 Masters, 5 PhDs, 11 Diplomas, and 2 NCEs. He is an Architect, Engineer, Town Planner, Quantity Surveyor, Researcher, Physician, Programmer, and Computer Literate.

No single discipline could contain him. The built environment, the sciences, technology, and medicine, he conquered them all. This is not a CV. This is a curriculum for what human excellence should look like.

Today, he serves as:

- *Dean, Faculty of Environmental Design, ABU Zaria

Graceland Polytechnic Mass Communication Students Participate in Family Planning Campaign at Owode Market

Students of the Department of Mass Communication, Graceland Polytechnic, Offa, have participated in a flag-off campaign focused on promoting awareness about family planning, child spacing, and responsible parenthood at Owode Market, Offa, Kwara State.

The campaign brought together students, health advocates, market traders, and members of the community to create awareness about the importance of family planning and informed reproductive health decisions.

Speaking during the campaign, the organisers emphasised that family planning enables individuals and couples to make informed choices about the number of children they wish to have and the spacing between pregnancies. The initiative also sought to address misconceptions surrounding family planning and encourage community members to seek appropriate information from qualified health professionals.

The Mass Communication students played an active role in the awareness exercise by engaging traders and other members of the public, disseminating information, and using effective communication strategies to promote the campaign's message.

The exercise further demonstrated the important role of Mass Communication in public health education, particularly in taking vital information beyond the classroom and directly to the grassroots.

The campaign at Owode Market marks another step towards strengthening community awareness and encouraging healthier decisions among families in Offa and its environs.
