RTIFN OSUN STATE CHAPTER COMMENDS PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU OVER IMPROVED WELFARE PACKAGE FOR NIGERIAN ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL

The leadership and entire membership of Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), Osun State Chapter, under the leadership of Engr. Kunle Oyediran, warmly commend His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for approving a new salary structure for personnel of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
This landmark decision, which takes effect from September 1, 2026, provides salary increases ranging from 30% to 80% across various military ranks and reflects the administration's commitment to improving the welfare and morale of the nation's armed forces.

We believe this bold initiative is a clear demonstration that President Tinubu recognizes the sacrifices of the brave men and women who continue to defend Nigeria's sovereignty and ensure the safety of citizens. Improved welfare for military personnel will boost morale, enhance operational efficiency, and further strengthen national security.

RTIFN Osun State applauds the President for prioritising the welfare of those who risk their lives daily in service to our great nation. We also commend the Federal Government's continued investment in strengthening the Armed Forces through improved remuneration, modern equipment, and enhanced operational capacity.

We urge Nigerians to continue supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda as the administration remains committed to delivering meaningful reforms that positively impact the lives of citizens and the institutions that safeguard our nation.

RTIFN Osun State Chapter urges all residents of Osun State to avoid sharing unverified information and fake news. The spread of false information can create unnecessary fear, panic, tension, and confusion among the public, while also undermining efforts to maintain peace and security.

The recent rumour alleging that bandits attacked schools in the state has been confirmed to be false. We therefore encourage everyone to verify information from credible sources before sharing it with others.

The Federal Government and relevant security agencies are making continuous efforts to address insecurity and ensure the safety of lives and property.

As responsible citizens, we must support these efforts by promoting accurate information and discouraging the spread of misinformation.
