STUDENTS, PLEASE STOP RELYING ON AI TO WRITE YOUR EXAM ANSWERS! 🚨

As someone involved in marking examination scripts, I have observed a growing dependence on AI-generated answers. The problem is that many students are copying answers without truly understanding the questions or the subjects they are being examined on.

AI is a powerful learning tool, but it cannot replace your preparation, understanding and ability to think for yourself.

In an examination, what matters is what you know, understand and can communicate on your own.

If you are preparing for WAEC, NECO, JAMB or any other examination:

📌 Study your notes and textbooks.
📌 Practise past questions.
📌 Understand the topics instead of memorising answers.
📌 Use AI to explain difficult concepts—not to do all the thinking for you.
📌 Always develop the confidence to answer questions in your own words.

Your examination result should reflect your knowledge, not your ability to copy an AI-generated response.

Parents and teachers also have an important role to play: let's teach students how to use technology responsibly while ensuring that genuine learning remains the priority.

🎓 Use AI to learn. Don't let AI learn for you.

🚨 JAMB CAPS UPDATE — TECHNICAL ISSUE RESOLVED

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has resolved the technical issue that temporarily affected access to its Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

The platform was earlier unavailable due to technical challenges associated with its hosting arrangements, affecting candidates and institutions trying to access admission-related services.

✅ JAMB CAPS is now accessible again, and candidates can return to the platform to check their admission status and carry out relevant admission processes.

Candidates who experienced difficulties accessing CAPS during the outage can try again through their JAMB e-Facility account.

🚨 ADMISSION DEADLINE TODAY!

🎓 UNIZIK Supplementary Admission

Prospective candidates seeking admission into the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) should take note that the application for supplementary admission closes today, September 27, 2026.

📌 If you are eligible and have not completed your application, ensure you do so before the deadline.

⚠️ Deadline: September 27, 2026

Stay updated with EduMATHS for more admission and education news.

📢 JAMB UPDATE: LOST PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL?

Good news for candidates who can no longer access the phone number or email address linked to their JAMB profile.

JAMB has introduced a controlled process that allows eligible candidates to update their registered:

📱 Phone number
📧 Email address
📱📧 Or both

Candidates must complete the process through designated JAMB CBT centres/approved offices and undergo identity and biometric verification.

⚠️ Important: The service can only be accessed once, so candidates should make sure the new details they provide are correct.

Candidates are also advised to use only official JAMB channels and avoid unauthorised agents.

🚨 WAEC 2026 WITHHELD RESULTS — IMPORTANT UPDATE

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) withheld the results of 167,486 candidates who sat for the 2026 WASSCE for School Candidates over reported cases of examination malpractice. This represents 8.59% of the 1,950,726 candidates who sat for the examination.

WAEC has now provided an official Notice of Examination Malpractice Portal where affected candidates can check the reason their results were withheld and, where applicable, make a representation to the Council.
WAEC International

📌 Important: WAEC's official portal currently states that candidates with malpractice notices should check the portal four weeks after the release of the results for updates.
Candidates should use only WAEC's official channels and avoid anyone asking for money to “release,” “upgrade” or alter a withheld result.

🎉 A RESULT WORTH CELEBRATING! 🎉

**A1 in 7 subjects and B2 in 2 subjects!** 🔥📚

Hard work, consistency and determination truly make a difference. 💯👏
This is the kind of result that shows what is possible when a student stays focused and puts in the work.

🚨 NECO 2026 RESULT: A RESULT THAT HAS ATTRACTED ATTENTION

A 2026 NECO SSCE Internal result circulating online shows a candidate with F9 in several subjects, including General Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, while some other subjects are recorded as E8 (Pass).

📌 Important: This is a screenshot circulating online and has not been independently verified by EduMATHS as an authentic NECO result. Candidates should rely on results obtained through the official NECO platform.

⚠️ Avoid sharing or reposting candidates’ personal information without their consent.
