‎ATUBO RUTH FOUNDATION DAILY DEVOTIONAL - WEDNESDAY, 30TH SEPTEMBER 2026.
‎
‎TOPIC: BREAKING THE SPIRIT OF COMPLACENCY

Isaiah 32vs 14– “until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.”

Complacency is a psychological state where an individual feels a sense of uncritical satisfaction with their current abilities, achievements, or situation, often accompanied by an unconscious unawareness of potential risks, dangers, or deficiencies. Complacency towards God kingdom makes you loss focus, the children of Israel where complacent towards God’s instruction and that made them stay longer on the wilderness, be excited with what you do, let’s read:- For thou art the glory of their strength: And in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defence; And the Holy One of Israel is our King.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭89‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬- the spirit of complacency takes you far away from Favour, fight against complacency because it will slow your destiny and God given vision.

Key Characteristics of Complacency
Overconfidence: Believing that past successes guarantee future safety or achievement without needing ongoing effort.
Resistance to Change: Dismissing new ideas, warnings, or feedback because things "seem fine the way they are."
Stagnation: A lack of drive to improve, innovate, or learn new skills.
Tunnel Vision: Focusing only on short-term comfort while ignoring long-term vulnerabilities.
When you are complacent with Gods instruction for your life, you experience the below scripture

“Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭28‬:‭47‬-‭48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Note: Complacency is different from contentment. Contentment is a deliberate state of peaceful happiness and gratitude with what you have, whereas complacency is passive, defensive, and often leaves a person vulnerable to sudden setbacks. These are not the thoughts of God towards you, his thoughts is to make you prosper and to be in health so why must you complacent with your future, God has given you all the capacity to make life meaningful and the spirit of complacency is to destroy it.

PRAYER :- Dear father, thank you for always standing by me even in my weakness and complacent life, thank you for not forsaking me despite my negative attitude towards your kingdom, please holyspirit help me to overcome the spirit of complacency and help me to be focus in advancing your kingdom. Amen

ATUBO RUTH FOUNDATION DAILY DEVOTIONAL - TUESDAY, 29TH. SEPTEMBER, 2026.
‎
‎TOPIC: CHRIST IN ME, THE HOPE OF GLORY*
‎
‎JOHN 14 vs 16:- And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever
‎
‎I am a joint heir with Christ, so anywhere I go, I carry Christ, we don’t ask the Lord to be with us, or pray and fast so He never leaves us. We know He’s with us and in us because He said so. Christianity is the living reality of Christ in you and with you always, not sometimes or only when you feel spiritual, but always.
‎
‎My hope is build on nothing less but on Christ, the solid rock, Many try to judge God’s presence by their emotions. They say, “I feel like God is with me,” or “I don’t feel His presence anymore.” But your feelings don’t determine His presence; His Word does. He said, _*“…I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen”*_ (Matthew 28:20 NKJV). When He said this to His disciples, they hadn’t been born again.
‎
‎Today, the Holy Spirit isn’t just with you but in you always—when you feel it and when you don’t. The Lord Jesus said, _*“…he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you”*_ (John 14:17). Now that you’re born again and have received the Holy Spirit, you’ve become inseparably one with Him, mingled with Him in oneness: _*“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”*_ (1 Corinthians 6:17).
‎
‎Therefore, His presence isn’t sustained by your emotions; it’s established by His truth. Being ignorant of this is the reason some have taught that when a Christian sins, fellowship with God is broken and the Holy Spirit withdraws from that person until repentance is made. But think about it: if the Holy Spirit truly left you, how would you ever come back? Who would guide and restore you?
‎
‎The very fact that a Christian is corrected by the Holy Spirit and guided back into the light of God’s Word proves that the Holy Spirit never departed. This doesn’t mean sin is permissible; rather, it means the Holy Spirit doesn’t abandon God’s children. The Lord Jesus didn’t say He would be with you only when you “perform” right. That’s the power and glory of the New Testament relationship we have with the Father.
‎
‎The Holy Spirit is your ever-present helper, teacher, guide and comforter. Without Him, you can’t live the true Christian life. He’s the One who causes the Word to come alive in your spirit and helps you walk in righteousness. Therefore, cultivate the consciousness of His constant presence in you and with you. Walk every day with the assurance that you’re never alone. Praise God!
‎
‎PRAYER:- Dear Father, thank you for the blessed Holy Spirit who lives in me and abides with me forever. I walk in the consciousness of His indwelling presence, yielded to His guidance and His wisdom that mantles my heart. I’m guided, strengthened, corrected and empowered by the Spirit to live triumphantly today, bringing glory to you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

ATUBO RUTH FOUNDATION DAILY DEVOTIONAL - MONDAY, 28TH. SEPTEMBER, 2026.
‎
‎TOPIC: BRINGING ALL MEN TO CHURCH
‎
‎Matthew 16:18-19 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
‎And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
‎
‎
‎_*📚Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood (Acts 20:28).*_
‎
‎I will build my church and the gate of hell shall not stand, so whether you join the church or not, God is building his church and he will reward those that have established his word on earth, the church is a person not a building, so we should be careful how we build it, he charged us to build it with love, he died for us while we were yet sinners, that is the love of Christ, so love sinners and bring them to church, when they come, the ministry of the holy Spirit is to convict and convert their heart to know Christ. Do not be weary in well doing, in due season you shall reap if you faint not, God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him, keep building men for Christ, I dedicated my Mondays for preaching to people in cell and have been during it for some months now, it's never easy because strength will fell some time but I keep pushing and I know that the word is working through them by the holy Spirit.
‎Our mission is to love God, serve God and to make others love and serve God.
‎
‎The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, describes the Church as that which God “purchased with his own blood.” The Lord Jesus paid an extraordinary price for the Church, the price of His blood, His very life. Therefore, to love Christ is to love His Church.
‎
‎This love must go beyond the walls of your local assembly or denomination. Sometimes, people become so conscious of denominational differences; names, structures, or traditions that they forget the greater truth: we’re all one body in Christ. The local assembly down your street, though different from yours in style or administration,is still made up of God’s people. Love them. Appreciate them. Pray for them. Honour the work God is doing through them.
‎
‎The Bible says in Ephesians 4:4, “There is one body, and one Spirit….” We aren’t rivals competing against one another; we’re one body, one family, brothers and sisters in Christ. When this understanding fills your heart, it’ll rid it of jealousy, strife and division to see and relate with fellow Christians with greater love, honour and sincerity because you recognize that the same life of Christ flows through all of us. What a blessing to belong to the family of God; it’s the greatest family in the world. Praise God!
‎
‎*PRAYER:- Dear Father, thank you for making me a member of the body of Christ. I walk in love for the Church and for every member of the family of God. I honour and appreciate your work and your grace in the lives of fellow Christians around the world, and I declare that they’re strong in faith, giving glory to you always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

ATUBO RUTH FOUNDATION DAILY DEVOTIONAL - SUNDAY, 27TH. SEPTEMBER, 2026.
‎
‎TOPIC: KNOW CHRIST AND FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM DAILY
‎
‎2 CORINTHIANS 3 vs 18:- But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image...(2 Corinthians 3:18)*.
‎
‎As Christians, we matured in the things and the walking with Christ, Christ is our firm foundation and we must know him and power of his resurrection, knowing Christ personally is what he wants from us daily, to know Christ, we must study the word daily, the more you study the word, the more you be like him because the word of God is God and he is the word. When you see Christ, you have seen God and his character and personality. Growth in Christ is relational. The more you know Him, the more you’re like Him, and the more His character, wisdom, glory and nature are expressed through your life. That’s true Christianity; it’s the unveiling of Christ in you. This is why your walk with Christ must remain personal and intimate.
‎
‎The transformation God desires in your life comes through continual fellowship, beholding Him, as the Bible says: “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18). Notice the progression: as you look, you’re changed.
‎
‎The Bible says in Hebrews 12:2, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith….” It brings to mind Peter’s experience when the Lord Jesus asked him to walk up to Him on water. Peter walked on water as long as his focus remained on the Master. But the moment Peter looked away and became conscious of the wind and waves, he began to sink (Matthew 14:29-30).
‎
‎That’s a lesson for every Christian. As long as you’re focused on the Lord, you’ll walk above the circumstances of life. You’ll walk above fear, sin, limitation, failure and the corrupting influences of this world. Hallelujah! Christianity is a call to walk on water, a call to look away from the natural elements, circumstances, pressures and challenges of this world, unto Christ!
‎
‎PRAYER :- Dear Father, thank you for calling me into fellowship with you and transforming me by your Spirit. As I continually behold your glory through the Word, I’m metamorphosed into the same image, manifesting your excellence, beauty, wisdom and glory. I walk above the circumstances of life and glorify you continually, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

ATUBO RUTH FOUNDATION DAILY DEVOTIONAL - SATURDAY, 26TH. SEPTEMBER, 2026.
‎
‎TOPIC: BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED*
‎
‎_*📖Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3).*_
‎
‎To be spiritually minded is life and peace but to be carnally minded is death. So choose spiritual as God is a spirit and you can worship him through spirit, When God tells you to focus, He wants you to be undistracted. One of Satan’s strategies against God’s people is distraction. He seeks to shift your attention away from the eternal realities of God’s Kingdom to circumstances, fears, pressures, and the transient things of life. But we’re not ignorant of his devices.
‎
‎The Psalmist said, “The godless spread lies about me, but I focus my attention on what you’re saying” (Psalm 119:69 MSG). What a mindset! In the midst of opposition, accusations, and distractions, he fixed his attention on the Word. That’s the secret of spiritual stability and progress. When your attention is focused on God’s Word, your spirit remains aligned with truth, victory, and divine direction.
‎
‎The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:18 to look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are unseen. The unseen realm is real, and God’s Word unveils its realities to us. Your physical senses may not perceive them, but your spirit can. Therefore, set your heart and affection on eternal things.
‎
‎Proverbs 4:25-27 says, “Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee....Turn not to the right hand nor to the left....” In other words, maintain focus. The apostle Paul exemplified this mindset when he said, “...one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before” (Philippians 3:13). He understood the power of focused vision.
‎
‎A double-minded man, the Bible says, is unstable in all his ways and unable to receive anything from God (James 1:8). Instability produces weakness and inconsistency, but focus produces strength, clarity and victory. So, live with steadfastness of mind. Run your race with purpose: “So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step. I fight to win. I’m not just shadow-boxing or playing around” (1 Corinthians 9:26 TLB).
‎
‎Stay spiritually focused on the Lord, on His Word, and on the eternal crown set before you. As you do, He’ll keep you in perfect peace, strength, unwavering prosperity and victory. Hallelujah!
‎
‎
‎PRAYER:- Dear Father, thank you for your Word that guides and establishes my heart in truth. My mind is steadfast and focused on your eternal realities. I refuse distractions, instability and double-mindedness; rather, I walk with clarity, purpose and unwavering confidence, fulfilling your destiny for my life in joy, victory and peace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

‎TOPIC: GOD IS NOT MOVE BY TEARS
‎
‎Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; - (Psalm 30:11)
‎
‎BIBLE READING: LUKE 7:11-16 (KJV)
‎
‎
‎MESSAGE
‎God is a God of principles, he cannot lie and his words are ye and Amen. Crying doesn't move God, hold God by his word and declare his word to him, he honor his word. Don't allow circumstances make you cry, be strong, be still and know that he his God, Jesus cried once in the Bible and the reason he cried was because he loved his friend, you can cry because of what God has done for you, a cry for showing appreciation to God, that's good and fine but not crying and questioning God of life circumstances, that is saying God is against you and you limit God by during that and he cannot perform anything, his is confident when you come to him boldly to obtain grace, the prodigal son knew his father had mansion so he stood up and went to his father with boldness knowing that his father will forgive him and indeed, the father forgave him. If his father can receive him despite what he did, how much more our heavenly father? His a merciful God and sees our heart, all he wants from us is to trust him and not to worry about ourselves. Keep the faith high my dear brothers and sisters.
‎
‎if you have surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, my Daddy is saying to you today, "Weep not," just like Jesus said to the widow of Nain in today's Bible reading. Every time Jesus says, "Weep not," it is because He wants to perform a miracle. No matter how long you may have been weeping, your time of rejoicing has come. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy will surely come in the morning (Psalm 30:5). I decree that your days of rejoicing are here, in Jesus' name. Luke 7 vs 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. Jesus told her, weep not and he brought her son back to life

‎
‎TOPIC: TRIUMPHING IN CHRIST
‎
‎ Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
‎
‎
‎MESSAGE: you will experience different battles. but when a person comes to Christ, the fellow becomes a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17), and everything changes. Where such a person has been fighting and struggling to win before and didn't know his or her fate when it comes to the battles of life, in Christ, the fellow ceases to struggle and is assured of being victorious. In fact, such a person becomes more than victorious; he or she becomes more than a conqueror.
‎
‎A Triumphant is someone who stayed victoriously. While a conqueror has to fight to achieve victory, someone who triumph enjoys victory without fighting any battles. Such a person sits comfortably to enjoy the victory achieved by a conqueror. God sees you as more than a conqueror because you are a recipient of Jesus' victory. Jesus went to the cross, defeated the devil, claimed victory, and handed it over to you. In Matthew 28:18, He declared that all power in heaven and on earth had been given to Him. Then, He handed the power over to His disciples and every other believer through the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).
‎
‎When the disciples received the Holy Spirit, they began to Triumph in life. They cast out demons and healed the sick effortlessly in the name of Jesus. Even when they faced challenges and persecution
‎
‎Being a Triumphant doesn't mean that you won't face challenges; it simply means that whenever challenges arise, you should be prepared for promotions, because God will use all the enemy's plans to elevate you. The devil thought he had destroyed Jesus by arranging His crucifixion, but he didn't know that he was destroying himself. 1 Corinthians 2:8 tells us that had the princes of this world known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. I decree that the devil's plots against you will blow up in his face. You will triumph against all odds, in Jesus' name.
‎
‎KEY POINT- Being more than a conqueror means that you will always triumph over the enemy's
‎
‎PRAYER:- Thank you father for sending your son to save me and making triumph everyday, thank you Jesus for accepting the call despite the challenges, I am forever grateful and rest in what you have done for me knowing am a winner and more than conqueror. Thank you Jesus. Amen

‎
‎TOPIC: God is with thee always

“Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water: But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭66‬:‭12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God was with Joseph in the prison all the way and Joseph knew, he said, how can I do such evil to God by sleeping with my boss wife, he knew God was with him, John 16 bs 33, God sees all the picture and we see in part so we can’t use the part to judge the all movie, the devil sees part but God sees the all story so let God into your life and allow him finish the story in your life. Satan allow you to see the tribulation but God allow you see the victory, so don’t be distracted with the tribulation because it’s for a while, things are bad, difficult but cheers because he has overcome. If you are not in God, I invite you because you might not have the whole world but with God,you have the whole world, Joseph said, his brother met it for evil but God met it for good, everything work together for good, the empty bank account is working together for your good because if it is empty, it needs to be filled and when it’s fill led, it needs to overflows. Gala 6 vs 9:- Don’t be weary in well good, in due season, you shall reap if you faint not. Just about when the miracle wants to manifest, we faint. But I urge you my brother and sister, faint not and don’t be so focus on people time, focus on your time.
“For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, and said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. So when even was come, the Lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.”Matthew‬ ‭20‬:‭1‬-‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
What makes the workers stand there? They didn’t give up and they all received penny, it doesn’t matter how long we have waited, we will still receive salvation, when the 11th hour come, you will receive penny. Surely there is an end but the expectation of the righteous shall not be caught off. No matter how dark the night is, joy comes in the morning. Be glad that we rejoice in God and not in man or ourselves. Season change and your season is now. “Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water: But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.”
“Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water: But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.”Psalm‬ ‭66‬:‭12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

ATUBO RUTH FOUNDATION DAILY DEVOTIONAL - TUESDAY, 22nd SEPTEMBER 2026.
‎
‎TOPIC: BIRTH SOMETHING GOOD

Isaiah 46 vs 9- Remember the former things of old for I am God and there is none else, I am God and there is none like me.

In your waiting, you must push something, as long as you live in this life, you must birth something and as long as you push, something must be birth so don’t give up in pushing. Face the pain, as long as your pain is not bigger than your dreams, don’t stop. Inside of us are greatest, there must be resistance but as long as we don’t stop pushing, we will surely birth something good, Isa 46 vs 9, remember the formal things of old, for I am God, his not asking you to remember your pain, remember what is associated to God, remember his testimonies for he his God, I am God, there is none Like me, if others can stop when passing through the pain, you cannot stop because God is with you and the grace of Christ is upon you. Before you enter into the situation, God has already make a way, God declare the end from the beginning, we see the beginning but God sees the end. The end is always successful with God. God is committed to me more than I know, 1 corin 16 vs 9, for a great door is open unto me and there are many adversaries. If God open a door for you, it is your responsibility to mange the door. We always think we open the door with our knowledge, skills and effort but is God that open the door, keep depending on the one that open the door because the enemy is not going anyway so stay on the side of God. Please we careful because unbelief, bad environment, small thinking and bad character can close your door so study Gods word continuously so we follow godly character to keep our door open. The Bible said, do not be conformed to this world but be ya transformed by the renewing of the word of God. Some people door has been open but they aren’t aware, they are still waiting for one uncle or aunty to open the door, vain is the help of a man, so put your trust on God. Isaiah 43 vs 1 -6
‘MBut now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

PRAYER : father, thank you for sending your son to review the word to us, thank you because am a good seed through you and the word of God in my heart will produce fruits in hundredfold. May your grace sustain the word of God in the heart and help me spread it to others in Jesus name. Amen
