If love was a decade, we'd still be in the 80s ❤️
Same us, different era. Still matching, still smiling, still standing strong together. Some love no dey expire — e just dey upgrade.

EPISODE 2 — THE CALL FROM HOME

Tobi couldn't sleep.
His mother's words kept repeating in his head.
“There is something I need to tell you.”
He called her back.
“Mummy, what happened?”
There was silence.
Then she said:
“Your father's old friend came today.”
Tobi frowned.
“Which friend?”
“Uncle Gabriel.”
Tobi sat upright.
His father had died seven years earlier.
Uncle Gabriel was one of the few people who had remained close to the family after his father's death.
“He brought something for you,” his mother continued.
“What?”
“A box.”
“What is inside?”
“I don't know. He said your father asked him to keep it until you were ready.”
Tobi's heart skipped.
“My father?”
“Yes.”
The next morning, Tobi travelled home.
When he arrived, Uncle Gabriel was sitting outside with an old wooden box.
He handed it to Tobi.
“This belonged to your father.”
Tobi opened it.
Inside was an old Bible.
A photograph.
And a small handwritten notebook.
Tobi picked up the notebook.
The first page contained only one sentence:
“My son, there will be a day when you will think God has forgotten you. Don't make the mistake of forgetting Him.”
Tobi stopped breathing for a moment.
He turned the page.
There were prayers.
His father's prayers.
Prayers about Tobi.
Prayers about his future.
Prayers about the kind of man he wanted his son to become.
Then Tobi saw a date.
It was written seven years earlier.
Three days before his father died.
His eyes filled with tears.
But there was one final page.
Only four words were written there:
“When the time comes, pray.”
Tobi closed the book.
That night, for the first time in months, he knelt beside his bed.
But this time…
He didn't ask God for money.
He didn't ask for a job.
He simply said:
“Father… I'm back.”
And somewhere in the silence…
his phone began ringing.
It was a number he didn't recognize.

🎵 TAKE MY KINDNESS FOR WEAKNESS. STILL COMING OUT STRONG...
Article / Caption for your post:

They smiled at my soft heart.
They thought quiet means weak.
They mistook my patience for fear.

What they didn't know is —
Kindness is not weakness. It's strength under control.
I can hold a heart and still carry a lion inside me.

I've been counted out, walked over, underestimated.
But every time they thought it was over...
I came out stronger, louder, bolder.

So keep watching.
My kindness is still there — but so is my roar.

PETER’S QUOTES — THE POWER OF PRAYER

The design carries a simple but powerful Christian message:
“A Prayerless Christian is a Powerless Christian.”
The crystal plaque represents clarity, purity and value. Just as a crystal shines when light passes through it, a believer’s life shines when it is continually connected to God through prayer.
The words “Prayer Less” and “Power Less” are deliberately connected. The message is not that a Christian has no power at all, but that a Christian who neglects prayer gradually loses the spiritual strength, direction and dependence on God that prayer produces.
Prayer is more than asking God for things. It is a place of communion, strength, guidance, thanksgiving, repentance and spiritual renewal.
Jesus Himself emphasized the importance of persistent prayer. In Luke 18:1, He taught His disciples that they should always pray and not give up.

That is why the design uses the cross, Bible, light and dove. They all point back to a life centered on Christ and sustained by fellowship with God.

*THE LESSON*

You can be talented and still need prayer.
You can be educated and still need prayer.
You can be strong physically and still need prayer.
You can have money, connections and opportunities and still need prayer.
Because there are battles that human strength cannot fight.
Prayer keeps the believer connected to the Source of strength.
When life becomes difficult, pray.
When things are going well, pray.
When you don't know what to do, pray.
When you are waiting for an answer, pray.
And when the answer finally comes—pray and give thanks.
Luke 18:1 reminds us that prayer and perseverance belong together: keep praying, and don't lose heart.

Peter’s Quote.

“A PRAYERLESS CHRISTIAN IS A POWERLESS CHRISTIAN.”
Don't wait until you are in trouble before you pray.
Build your strength in God's presence before the battle comes.
