PENSION & IPPIS FRIDAY
Something big has happened in Nigeria’s pension industry…
₦31.8 trillion.
Yes, you heard that right.
But the really interesting question is:
Where is all that pension money actually invested?
And what does it mean for you as an RSA holder?
We’re breaking it down today on Pension & IPPIS Friday.
Coming soon…
₦31.8 TRILLION.
That’s the latest headline from Nigeria’s pension industry.
But behind that number is a much bigger story.
Where is the money invested? And what does that mean for your retirement savings?
The full Pension & IPPIS Friday episode is coming.
Stay tuned.
KNOW YOUR RULES | THURSDAY
YOU SAW IT AT WORK. CAN YOU POST IT?
You see an interesting document at the office.
You have access to it because of your work.
You take a picture.
Then you think:
“Let me post this.”
Before you do, pause.
The Public Service Rules contain important restrictions on the disclosure and copying of official information and documents obtained in the course of official duties. PSR 100416 and 100417 are particularly relevant here.
And OHCSF has also issued circulars addressing the unauthorised circulation of official documents/information on social media.
The lesson isn't that public servants cannot use social media.
The lesson is:
Access does not automatically mean permission to publish.
Before you post official information, ask:
Am I authorised to share this?
Has it been cleared for public release?
Does it contain confidential or restricted information?
When you're unsure, check the appropriate official channel.
Think. Check. Then post.

Happy Independence Anniversary And Welcome To Digital Wednesday
Do you keep doing the same task over and over at work?
Sometimes, the problem isn't how hard we work.
It's that we haven't stopped to ask whether there is a simpler way.
Templates.
Spreadsheet formulas.
Calendar reminders.
Email rules.
Saved responses.
Small digital tools can reduce repetitive work and give you more time for the tasks that actually need your attention.
Your action today:
Identify ONE task you repeat regularly and ask:
Can a digital tool simplify this?
Repeat → Identify → Simplify → Save Time.
Work smarter. Not just harder.

🇳🇬 HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, NIGERIA! 🇳🇬
Today, at Civil Service Digital Academy, we celebrate more than a date.
We celebrate the people who keep Nigeria moving — the teachers, farmers, entrepreneurs, professionals, public servants, young people, parents, innovators and everyday Nigerians who continue to show up, work, serve and believe.
Our diversity is our story.
Our resilience is our strength.
Our service is our contribution.
And our hope for a better Nigeria belongs to all of us.
As we celebrate another Independence Day, may we remember that nation-building is not only the responsibility of those in positions of authority.
Every honest task.
Every responsible decision.
Every act of service.
Every contribution matters.
From all of us at Civil Service Digital Academy, we wish every Nigerian at home and around the world a joyful and meaningful Independence Day.
🇳🇬 Nigeria, this is our home.
This is our hope.
And we will keep building.
Happy Independence Day, Nigeria! ❤️💚
