Gossa Eid Hangouts 1.0

Alhamdulillah for the boundless mercy of Allah and for leaders who turn compassion into action. Today, I am profoundly grateful to share this moment of appreciation for Engr Aliyu Mohammed , the esteemed Chairman/CEO of Velocity Group Limited and visionary Founder of Velocity Humanitarian Foundation . His recent noble intervention in settling the school fees of 415 indigent and deserving students has removed a heavy financial burden that threatened to derail their academic dreams. In an era where rising education costs push many bright minds toward dropout, this selfless act through the Foundation has restored hope and ensured uninterrupted learning for these Gombe sons and daughters.

This generous gesture is more than financial support; it is a powerful testament to true humanitarian leadership and empathy. By investing directly in the futures of these students, Engr. Aliyu Mohammed has not only eased the worries of struggling families but also inspired the entire Gombe State student community at Federal University of Kashere and beyond. As GOSSA President, I have seen the ripple effect of such kindness ,the relief on students' faces, the renewed focus on studies, and the strengthened belief that education is indeed the greatest equalizer. Your commitment through Velocity Humanitarian Foundation exemplifies what it means to lead with heart and purpose.

We are reminded once again that one person's resolve can transform countless lives and contribute to nation-building. Engr. Aliyu Mohammed's philanthropy reaffirms our collective faith in youth empowerment, human capital development, and community upliftment. It challenges us all to pay it forward, support one another, and prioritize the education of our future leaders. Moments like this make leadership truly rewarding and remind us why we serve to amplify voices and opportunities for those who need it most.

May Almighty Allah (SWT) reward Engr. Aliyu Mohammed abundantly for this impactful deed, multiply his blessings, grant him excellent health, long life, and continued success in all endeavors. May He keep positioning him as a channel of goodness and barakah to humanity. To the 415 beneficiaries and every Gombe student: your stories of perseverance inspire us. Thank you, Sir, for being a true beacon of hope. The students of Gombe State will forever cherish this kindness.

On Saturday, we took a significant step towards creating a more inclusive and equitable society. We're honored to have flagged off the distribution of 1,000 sanitary pads to our girls and women in need. This initiative is more than just a charitable act - it's a declaration of our commitment to empowering women and promoting dignity.

Menstruation is a natural part of life, and it's time we treated it as such. By providing access to sanitary pads, we're saying that every girl deserves to stay in school, every woman deserves to live with confidence, and every period deserves to be celebrated. This is a small step towards breaking down barriers and unlocking the potential of our sisters.

Let's continue to shatter the stigma surrounding menstruation and work towards a future where every girl and woman can thrive, without shame or hindrance. We're proud of the impact we're making, and we invite you to join the movement. Together, we can create a brighter future for all
