A look at the Premier League teams applying the most pressure without the ball this season 🍒

🚨 NEW:

The majority of Manchester United players who aren't on international duty have been given the WEEK OFF.

However, a few have been reporting to Carrington to complete individual work and light training.

🚨 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐎 𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐓𝐎𝐏-𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 🩸

I’ve never seen a young midfielder so balanced, composed and comfortable on the ball. You can put two or 3 players around him and he still won’t panic. He just keeps the ball, turns away from pressure and makes the right decision, making it looks so easy.

And it completely baffles me how people watch and routinely underrated him.

We might be underperforming now but he isn’t. ❤️👑

🚨 Baleba and Mainoo staying behind during the break could be huge both for the two players, Carrick and the team.

Carrick has three weeks to work with them, to build the midfield properly and find the balance that’s been missing.

Because honestly, this is the Midfield Combo that fits everything and everyone.

Fluid, press resistance, ball carriers, two guys that can easily carry the ball from defenders and link with the attackers.

This might be our turning point this season. 🔴💪

Cunha is so so good, and when he’s driving directly at defenders vs playing back-to-goal, he's unplayable.

Keeping him on the left half-space facing the pitch unlocks his elite ball carrying and right-foot shooting angles.

His work-rate is top-class. He never gives up and keeps trying to make things happen. That’s exactly how he got that goal against Fulham, and how he has been saving us.

Play Cunha properly and you’re guaranteed he’ll deliver every game.

11 of his last 12 Premier League goals have either put his side ahead or equalized the score.

What a player and what she signing he has been. 🔴👑

🚨❌ 𝐉𝐉 𝐆𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐋’𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 COULD BE OVER!

JJ Gabriel is reportedly not expected back at Carrington, with his representatives said to be in talks with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Nothing is officially confirmed yet, but the signs are pointing towards an exit.

A huge talent — but should United keep fighting for a player who wants out?

Sometimes, the best thing for the club is to let go and move forward. 🔴

United must focus on the players who genuinely want to wear the badge.
