Gunner's Corner

Match day.....felt like forever!!
I saw the SEVERITY of the fine and ban Granit Xhaka suffered and i am PATIENTLY waiting for the end of the Man city case.

If Granit Xhaka could be so punished for one offense, then I am waiting for the punishment 115 charges will come with!!!!

Countdown to the first kickoff........COYG 🔥🔥🔥!!!!

What could be the reason for the slow start of the Arsenal women?

Missed chances by the attackers?

Lack of creativity from the midfield?

No defensive stability?

Change of strategy from the coaching crew?

We really need to get it sorted as we already have quite an amount of catching up to do!

My respect for this man has INCREASED 10TIMES OVER. He sacrificed EVERYTHING for RIGHT!! He could have sought GLORY over all......but he chose to leave Arsenal as stable as could be!
Everything he ever complained about, and all the clubs he complained about....he has been vindicated.
All the time he asked for drug testing and complained about 'financial doping', Arsene was ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!
You might not have all the silverware but now I am certain you have ADDED GLOBAL RESPECT!!!

Watching the England vs Spain match helped me appreciate Lewis Skelly a lot more.
For the first time in a really long time, the English midfield was QUITE STABLE and mobile and at some point over-ran the Spanish midfield. They ran out of steam as the game wore on but I think a lot of it was the effect of the missed penalty.
Lewis Skelly's role in the game made it clearer he was a HUGE MISS against Brighton as they scored two goals from positions a DM should be covering. We needed legs in that game in the middlesomething he would have given us and his absence created such an opening.

And finally we have Kofané of Leverkusen. Saliba and Gabriel had their hands full and legs troubled when Arsenal played Leverkusen in the UCL. He was such a tough nut to crack as Gabriel and Saliba were really worked by him. He was strong, held the ball very well, linked up with his team mates and was deceptively fast.
He seems quite ready made for the EPL and he will surely be a plus in the Arsenal attack.

We move on to Eli Kroupi. Young and energetic with quite the shooting power and accuracy and never shy from the goals, he will be a fantastic addition to the front line. A perfect replacement for Jesus.
Kroupi has the French attacker aura about him, that finesse. Arsenal will do well to secure such a young striker with a whole lot to come from him.

If Manchester City ever gets relegated, Ødegaard, you already know what to do. 😂

Bring Erling Haaland to Arsenal! 🔴⚪

Imagine Haaland leading the line at the Emirates… the Premier League would have a serious problem! 😭🔥

Kevin Schade quite recently has been linked to the Arsenal. And I honestly love the sound of that. Brentford is keen on tying him down and are discussing new and improved terms with his team but Schade to Arsenal will be SO TASTY.
Schade practically gives you almost everything, pace, aggression, zeal, energy and endeavor...of course with the long throw-ins. And goals?? He pops up with them. Having Schade play as a left winger or the main striker is a prospect worth experiencing in Arsenal.

I want us to talk about 4 striking options ( Rodrygo, Schade, Kroupi and Kofané) and the possibility of signing one or more.
I certainly feel it was an error to lose Trossard and Martinelli in the same window. Rodrygo has been injured but thankfully he is stepping up his recovery.
I have always wanted him for Arsenal as we all know Rodrygo is one player with a HUGE BITE on his day, of course with an eye for a goal.
Coming to the prem after such an injury seems like quite the risk but if there is any chance of it happening, I believe it's a risk worth taking

I go on to the next player............
