Reopening of the Centralized Quiz

Issued by the Management of the Distance Learning Centre, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU DLC)

It has come to the attention of the Management of the Distance Learning Centre, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU DLC) that certain unauthorised individuals and groups are operating fraudulent offices in various parts of Nigeria, falsely presenting them as accredited study centres of ABU DLC.

The public is hereby formally notified that ABU DLC does not own, operate, or recognise any study centre anywhere in Nigeria, nor has it licensed any person or entity to establish or operate such centres on its behalf.

Consequently, the public is strongly advised as follows:

1. Admission, Screening, and Registration: Do not participate in any ABU DLC admission, screening, or registration exercise except at the Centre in Zaria, at any of our designated Liaison Offices, or at specific examination centres that will be duly communicated by Management.

2. Payments and Financial Transactions: Do not engage in any discussion or transaction involving payments, nor remit any funds to any third party purporting to act in the name of ABU DLC.

3. Agreements on Examination or Study Centres: Do not enter into any discussion, arrangement, or agreement with any individual or group concerning examination centres or study centres under the name of ABU DLC.

4. Unauthorised Services: ABU DLC has not authorised any person or entity to provide study centre services to students, including but not limited to the printing of course materials, assistance with group or individual assignments, or any similar student support services.

Any person who engages in any of the above-mentioned activities does so entirely at their own risk.

Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious claims or activities to the nearest ABU DLC Liaison Office or to the Centre in Zaria.

This is to inform students who are yet to register their courses that the portal has been re-opened for 24 hours with a penalty of N10,000.

We strongly implore students who would still like to join this semester to endeavour to register courses within this time frame as this is the last time.

The penalty fee (N10,000) is applicable to all students.

To register for courses, follow the steps below:

1. Login to reg.abudlc.edu.ng

2. Input your username and password

3. Click on “TRANSACTIONS” then “FEES”

4. Select the courses to be registered

5. Then click on “PAY FEES” and follow the instructions to complete your payment.

For ease of payment, kindly login to the SIS portal (reg.abudlc.edu.ng) with a laptop.

Students are strongly advised not to make payments to unfamiliar, personal accounts or individuals.

The institution will not be liable for losses resulting from fraudulent transactions.

NOTE: Kindly ignore this email if you have graduated or you have registered your courses for this semester.

The final deadline for course registration is 9th November 2025.
Kindly note that this extension comes with a late registration fee of Ten thousand naira( #10,000) only.
If you are yet to get your login details to the registration portal after screening, please reach out to the Liaison office where you were screened.
If you have received your details, kindly find below short steps on how to register for your courses;
- Go to reg.abudlc.edu.ng
- Input your username and password
- Click on "Fees"
-Enter your biodata if you haven't already done so (Passport size; 100kb or less)
- Click on "Fees" again
- Select your semester courses
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Pay Fees"
This would route you to another page, click continue
- Enter your card details and input your "OTP"
Please be informed that if you cannot afford to register for all your first semester courses due to financial challenges, you can register a minimum of 12 units while registering for your outstanding courses later.
