The Dutch love talking about the weather… so we’re joining in😉

Yesterday in Delft, we got the full package: rain and sunshine…all in one day.🌧️☀️

Now we can say autumn has officially arrived in Delft. 🍂
And honestly… carrying both an umbrella and sunglasses is just part of the Dutch experience. 😄

A day exploring The Hague & Delft with our lovely guide Roos 💙 From hidden gems to fun stories along the way, Roos shared some of her favourite sides of both cities with us.

📸 And did you know? The little tower on the right (swipe for a close up), known as ‘Het Torentje’, is the office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. It has been used as the Prime Minister’s office since 1982! 🇳🇱

August is almost over, but luckily the sunshine is still here! 🌞

Guide Isis took our visitors along during a busy and lively week in Delft! With all the new TU Delft students arriving for their introduction week, Delft was buzzing with new faces, fun activities and many parties.

Summer days in Holland! 🌞 Did you know… that part of Rotterdam was once Delft?

Around 1389, Delft dug the river the Schie to connect the city with the Maas (see the second photo). As a result, the waterway expanded and a small settlement emerged: Delfshaven.
It was part of Delft for centuries, until Rotterdam took it over in 1886.

So, when you explore Delfshaven today, you are actually walking through a small piece of Delft history! 💙
