Mamaia is filled with incredible restaurants, but if you’re looking for a place where every dish is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, generous portions, and truly fair prices, Taboo Beach Lounge & Rooms is one you simply can’t miss.

The carp roe salad is my absolute favorite—the best I’ve ever had—and the mussels are always a must-order. Truthfully, I’ve enjoyed almost everything on the menu, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back.

But what makes this place truly special goes beyond the food. The warm hospitality, attentive service, and relaxed atmosphere make you feel like you’re among friends. It’s a beautiful family-owned business built with passion, and you can genuinely feel the love and dedication behind every detail.

And if you’re planning a longer stay, this year they also offer beautiful apartments just a 2-minute walk from the beach, making it even easier to enjoy everything Taboo Beach has to offer.
