What’s in a mind?

next Saturday to be seen at the Autumn Salon at Pulchri Studio | Contemporary Art Gallery | The Hague.

JACOBIEN

Currently still in my studio, but next Saturday to be seen at the Autumn Salon at Pulchri Studio.

Lost in Space 3

A work from my Lost in Space series. This is the final piece from the edition of Lost in Space 3 to be sold.

Other works from the Lost in Space series are still available.

A glimpse from the studio.

Sometimes a painting becomes part of its surroundings — and the boundaries between the image and the world begin to blur.

I like those moments.

SPIRIT

There is something special about encountering a work again after some time — especially when it has found a place in the home of the person who chose it.

Seeing it there evokes a particular feeling, difficult to describe in words. A feeling I also try to capture in my own work: something between memory, presence and emotion.

I write more about this on my renewed website.(link in bio)
