A tight plan, a skilled crew, and a lot of work no one sees.
The turning gear into a full production through precision, teamwork, and consistent progress.
That’s the art of process, and it’s what we build Rentman to protect.
Thanks for trusting us with it, 🙏
Keeping crew availability up to date is what keeps your planning reliable. Now there’s an even faster way to do it.
With the Rentman MCP, you can manage availability in plain language. Tell your AI assistant who’s unavailable and when, and it updates their availability for you, so no one gets booked when they’re already out.

New gear shows up with a supplier invoice attached. Getting it into Rentman usually means adding every item by hand.
With the Rentman MCP, you can connect your AI assistant to Rentman and hand off that step. In this one, we dropped in a supplier invoice PDF and the new equipment got added to Rentman, ready to review.
That’s admin handled before the gear even hits the shelf. Another use case from our MCP in Action series. More on the way.

Every cardboard man has an origin story. 🫡
Thomas runs .equipment, one of the best crews we get to work with. They’re based in Sweden and have been building on Rentman since 2023.
Recently, our product manager Jop and the team have been working on something Thomas is pretty excited about. Excited enough, it turns out, to say thank you in the most Thomas way possible.
Most people send a nice message. Thomas sent a life-size Jop (apparently with a nudge from our own Maurice).
We’ll allow it. Thank you Thomas, and thank you to the entire .equipment team. (We think..?) We love our customers. We’re also, clearly, a little scared of them.
“Midnight calls used to be a badge of honor.“
They’re not asking for the gear list anymore. They want the outcome, the experience, a partner they can trust to make the show happen. And the midnight call that used to be a badge of honor? Nobody wants it now.
Heidi and Tim got into this in our mid-year industry check-in.

We wanted to give a special shoutout to JRP Live, a corporate AV crew out of the US. They took us behind the scenes: trusses going up in the warehouse, then the whole thing coming together on site.
Running on Rentman since 2021. Love to see it.
Thanks for sending this our way, JRP Live. 🔥

Rentman's hitting the road again this September, and the crew can't wait to talk to you in person. 🫵
There's only so much a demo call can do. So we're heading to PLASA in London and IBC in Amsterdam to do it properly: sit down with you, take our time, and actually answer the questions that matter to how you run things.
Come see RFID in action and put it to the test yourself. See a live demo, or just talk things through with the crew.
And of course, you can enter the raffle to win a Rentman flightcase, fully stocked with beers. 🍻
Grab a free ticket and come find us:

👉 IBC (RAI, Amsterdam): https://hubs.ly/Q04nLGRV0
See you there.
RFID can save up to 90% of your time while scanning items.
It’s one of the biggest upgrades you can make in your warehouse, and it runs right inside Rentman.
The idea is simple. You tag your gear with RFID tags, then scan with a handheld reader. No line of sight, no scanning piece by piece. Pack a full flight case, wave the scanner over it, and every tagged item shows up at once.
In Rentman, that happens in the Warehouse module of the mobile app. The items you scan get checked against your project’s packing list, so you can book a whole case out, or back in, in seconds and know nothing’s missing. It works right alongside your QR codes and barcodes too. RFID for fast bulk scans, QR for single items.
Curious if it fits your warehouse? See how it works at rentman.io/rfid-explained.
Already using RFID? Tell us your biggest efficiency win in the comments. 👇
