The Pokémon 30th Anniversary release is almost upon us! Who's excited!? Got your pre-orders in, or picking up your goods at a midnight release? What are you picking up?

I can't wait to open cards again soon, so much to catch up on, but with an upcoming holiday ahead, I'll have to do my best to catch up when I get back from travels - I'm already used to being behind at this point 🤣

I'm in the process of cataloguing my sets as I go, but for anyone that wants a lil nosy, feel free to take a look!

With my rebinding collection completed, and no further sets to bind as I haven't had the opportunity to collect much from Ascended Heroes onwards, I've begun to (finally) definitively catalogue my collection down to the cards in my personal collection - among others.

It's allowing me to to through each card one by one all over again, from Base Set onwards, and I often forget what I have 😅

I've currently been cataloguing Legendary Collection and my e-series cards, and came across these beauts! Crystal Charizard reverse holofoil from Skyridge and Charizards from Legendary Collection. ☺️

I'm nkt one to talk much to value, and never have been, but it is unavoidable these days and stuns me to super effective paralysis that these sets, even incomplete, are beyond what I'd ever have thought - kinda terrifying actually! I feel like I'm stuck in a pre-boom time warp so I'm endlessly surprised haha.

By the way, I opened 3 boxes of LC back in the day, thought they were expensive then! 😅

Wow! I wasn't expecting to see something like this, and on blu-ray as well. I remember the days of working with Beyond Home Entertainment who had the original license to designing and distributing official Pokémon releases across the Oceania region. They did such a good job and working with the team was so awesome, but unfortunately no idea what happened to distribution since Shock took over and, honestly, the home video market has suffered with the rise of digital and streaming.

Still, so cool to see! I'd love to get hold of this. Price point being in the $600-700 NZD mark though is quite a bit!

Love the compact design though, and the new discs!

Singapore 2027! The closest New Zealand and Australia will probably get to Worlds. How cool!

The location for the 2027 Pokémon World Championships has been confirmed. It will take place in Singapore in August 2027
