AKA Andrew Spraggon - Beatmaker/Producer. For all the latest 👉 https://linktr.ee/solarosa It’s music that feels lived-in rather than lab-engineered.

Sola Rosa, the long-running project of New Zealand producer Andrew Spraggon, has never lacked stylistic ambition. Over the past two decades, he's taken an omnivorous approach to genre—soul, R&B, funk, jazz, hip-hop, and the occasional nod to pop—all filtered through a lens that favours polish and warmth over flash. Since winning Best Electronic Release at the 2001 NZ Music Awards for Solarized, Spraggon has quietly built an international rep. There’ve been remixes from Tall Black Guy, Hermitude and DJ Vadim; sets at Secret Garden Party and Green Man; praise from Rolling Stone, Mojo, and more. Yet he remains a bit of a secret—an underground mainstay rather than a household name. The 2020 LP Chasing The Sun marked a return after five years and proved there was still plenty left in the tank. Now, 25 years into the Sola Rosa journey, comes New Tomorrows: a taut, considered EP that feels less like a statement and more like a bridge between chapters. The collaborators remain—singers, writers, players from both sides of the Tasman—but there’s a quiet sense of closure. A drawing of breath before something sharper. That “something” is already coming: a new album lands later this year, with Spraggon stepping further into the foreground. Watch this space.

PĹŤneke Wellington, thank you for helping us finish the tour with a sold-out show at San Fran and for bringing so much love into the room. Saturday was a special one and we really felt it.

This tour wasn’t just about the new album — it was about taking the live show to another level. Years in the making, reworking songs, rebuilding arrangements with the band, developing visuals, and refining every detail to create a completely new live experience.

It hasn’t always been easy, but the Pōneke show felt like everything coming together.

It may have started as my vision, but there’s no way I could’ve done it alone.

Massive thanks to for putting this tour together and backing the vision from day one. Huge appreciation to Meg and Fe for believing in what I was trying to create and supporting it every step of the way.

Big love to our support acts Mikki Dee (), Lebowlski () — you all set the tone perfectly and brought such great energy to the night.

To Creature Post, thank you for the incredible visuals and patience throughout the process. To Wallace and Matt Sawyer, endless gratitude for the energy, generosity and commitment you bring to Sola Rosa every time we hit the stage.

Big love as well to and for all the work behind the scenes helping get the word out.

And finally, thank you to NZ On Air Music and NZ Music Commission for supporting this tour — without it, I’m not sure it would’ve been possible.

And damn.. cannot forget a huge gigantic thanks to the one and only Jaime Robertson who tirelessly worked on all aspects of the tour artwork, posters, videos, you name it. Big love bro!

And to everyone who bought a ticket, picked up merch, streamed the album, brought a friend, or showed love in any way — thank you. Independent music only exists because people choose to support it. 🧡🙏🏼🫠
