Hamilton Sambo

IYKYK ❤💙

If your goal is to be the best - adjust your standards and expectations accordingly. Setting standards is easy - doing the work over a timespan that brings you up to those standards is the hard part. Take it one task at a time but always with an eye on the horizon to keep those standards and expectations in your mind as you work on the task in front of you - that reconciliation of present reality with future goal is where your success lies.

Don't be afraid of failure.

Be afraid of doing nothing at all.

🥋 SAMBO IN HAMILTON , THIS WEEK

Busy week ahead on the mat.

Two public sessions, plenty to work on, and a growing mix of experience and goals coming together each week.

Tuesday — 6:30–7:15pm
📍 Legends Gym, Avalon

Wednesday — 6:00–7:00pm
📍 Hamilton Sambo

We’re working through Sambo basics, rules, takedowns, movement and live practice, with everyone bringing their own experience and goals to the mat.

Behind the scenes, Hamish’s game plan is ready. The next phase of preparation is about putting the work in, one session at a time.

The classes are getting busy, the skill level keeps growing, and there’s a lot happening on our mat right now.

Come along, learn Sambo, and see how it can help your sport.

Everyone welcome.
