Spectral Awakenings's hundreds of performances include: Monthly residencies @ 55 Bar(NYC), Ryles Jazz (Boston), NYC- Fat Cat, Knitting Factory, Barbes, Lima, Peru- La Noche (2016, 2017), Singapore's Jazz@7ate9 and Jazz@Southbridge, and many others While being thoroughly versed and rooted in the jazz idiom, Spectral Awakenings has shunned the conventional notions of what defines jazz, encompassing every type of music from Bach and Charlie Parker to Squarepusher and D'Angelo in their forward-thinking compositional and playing styles.
