How to Connect a Pro Sound System
Step 1: Mixer → Equalizer
First, connect the Main Output from the Mixer to the Input of the Equalizer.
Shown by the blue cable
Step 2: Equalizer → Crossover
Then, go from the Output of the Equalizer straight to the Input of the Crossover. Shown by the green cable
Step 3: Crossover →
Amplifier
Now, split your frequencies from the Crossover to the Amplifier.
The crossover separates Low, Mid, and High frequencies. Send those to the different channels/inputs on the Power Amplifier. Shown by the orange and red cables.
Full Signal Flow:
Mixer → Equalizer → Crossover → Power Amplifier → Speakers
Key Point:
That is how you connect a pro sound system properly — process the sound first with EQ, split frequencies with the crossover, then amplify and send to speakers.

Our spiritual father, Our biological father, and the one who always gave the go-ahead: “He’d say yes, and we’d go.”
Doing that first sound check with SSEC CHURCH without hearing his “yes” first… I can feel how heavy that silence must be 😢😭💔
His legacy is still in every cable I run, every fader I push, and every young person I train through WLSound Tech. He taught me all how to move, and now I'm carrying that forward.
Im not just running cables but I'm running the mission He started. 🙏
