If you’re looking for a new restaurant to try in Burnsville, Mo’ Bettahs is definitely worth a visit! As the first Hawaiian-style eatery of its kind in the area, it brings a refreshing island-inspired dining experience to Burnsville, Minnesota.

One of the first things you’ll notice is the excellent value. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are impressively generous, making it easy to share or enjoy leftovers later. You truly get your money’s worth.

What makes this restaurant even more memorable is its welcoming atmosphere. The staff are warm, friendly, and attentive. During my visit, the founder took the time to greet guests personally, chat with customers, and share their passion for serving delicious Hawaiian comfort food. That personal touch made everyone feel genuinely welcome and at home.

When it comes to the food, the Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu are must-tries. Both are flavorful, satisfying, and cooked just right. Whether you’re already a fan of Hawaiian plate lunches or trying them for the first time, these dishes are a great introduction.

I’d give this year’s experience a 7/10. The food was delicious, and I have to say the meals we tried in 2026 were better than what we had last year. 👏 The only downside was the price—everything feels more expensive these days because of inflation, but that’s something we’re seeing everywhere.

As for the entertainment, I personally enjoyed the 2025 rock bands more than this year’s lineup, but the atmosphere was still fun and family-friendly.

Overall, it’s still an event I look forward to every year. There are so many food vendors to choose from, and we definitely didn’t get to try everything. We’ll be back next year to check out the other food trucks and discover more tasty favorites!
