𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐌 "𝐊𝐈𝐘𝐀𝐏𝐎" 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒

Personnel of the Ballesteros Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐃 𝐒𝐢𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧, Officer-in-Charge, actively conducted roving and water level monitoring in Brgy. Mabuttal as part of the station's preparedness measures for Tropical Storm "Kiyapo."

In addition, personnel participated in the Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) meeting together with other concerned agencies to assess potential hazards, coordinate response efforts, and ensure the readiness of all responders. These proactive measures aim to enhance public safety, strengthen inter-agency coordination, and ensure prompt response to any emergency that may arise due to the effects of the tropical storm.

Personnel of the Ballesteros Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐃 𝐒𝐢𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧, Officer-in-Charge, conducted preparedness measures in anticipation of the possible effects of Tropical Storm (TS) Kiyapo.

As part of the station's readiness efforts, personnel ensured the operational readiness of firefighting and rescue equipment, conducted inspection of emergency response resources, and remained on heightened alert to provide immediate assistance during any weather-related emergencies. These proactive measures aim to enhance the station's capability to respond effectively and ensure the safety and welfare of the community.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Personnel of the Ballesteros Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐃 𝐒𝐢𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧, Officer-in-Charge, actively participated in the Coastal Clean-Up Drive conducted at Barangay Sta. Cruz, Ballesteros, Cagayan.

The activity aimed to promote environmental protection, proper waste management, and community awareness on the importance of maintaining clean and healthy coastal areas. Through collective effort and volunteerism, the participating personnel helped remove litter and other debris along the shoreline, contributing to the preservation of the marine ecosystem and the overall cleanliness of the community.

These activities include the proper donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), hose throwing and connection drills, ladder raising and positioning, and various carrying techniques. Through regular training and hands-on exercises, personnel strengthen their skills, improve teamwork, and ensure their capability to respond effectively and efficiently to any emergency situation.
