SCI-CORE: "𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐍𝐀 𝐒𝐈𝐒!”
You think cut apple is just an esthetic… but it’s actually a science drama!

Ever wondered why the fresh looking apple turns brown suddenly left? And that’s oxidation for you! Then when you cut the apple open, the enzymes react with the oxygen and that is why it turns brown.

So the next time you see your apple turning brown, don’t panic 𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆 ‘𝐘𝐀𝐍 𝐕𝐀𝐁𝐄! 💡

𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓: Browning didn’t mean the apple was suddenly not safe to eat anymore, it’s mostly a chemical reaction with oxygen

🌅 A sunset isn’t just a pretty view—it’s 𝙥𝙝𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣! As sunlight travels through more of Earth’s atmosphere, 𝐑𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 sends more blue light in different directions, leaving behind the warm orange, pink, and red hues we see at dusk.

To all our SciTizens, keep your eyes open! 👀✨ Science isn’t only found in laboratories—it’s happening all around us, even in the colors of an ordinary sunset. So the next time you spot something fascinating, snap it, spot it, and let’s uncover the science behind it! 🔭🌎

Kung gravity is always pulling things down… bakit may soap bubble na parang nakakalutang sa hangin? 🤔🫧

Air movement? Buoyancy? Drag? Or may ibang explanation pa? 👀

What do you think? Drop your answer or theory sa comments below!

We’ll reveal the answer through our video, so stay tuned SciTiZens!💙

‎“5... 4... 3... 2... 1... 𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄!" — You, right before consuming 10 million microscopic uninvited guests. 🦠👀
‎
‎We like to think bacteria take five seconds to notice food hitting the floor, but micro-organisms move faster than your reaction time! 🏃💨
‎
‎Thanks to 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐮𝐫, who pioneered the 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞, we know that invisible microbes (bacteria, fungi, and spores) live on almost every non-sterile surface. They don't magically spawn from nowhere—they’re already there waiting!
‎
‎Back in the 19th century, legendary scientist Louis Pasteur disproved spontaneous generation and proved Germ Theory—showing that microscopic organisms are constantly present around us on surfaces and floating in the air.
‎
‎Modern studies show that bacterial cross-contamination happens instantly upon contact (we're talking milliseconds, not seconds!).
‎
‎So, while blowing on your dropped biscuit might make you feel better, Pasteur’s principles remind us that germs are already waiting for free real estate!
