What if you know you are serving God but you didn't notice you're being far from His presence?

‎In the book of Luke 10: 38-42 shows the two different hearts and posture of serving the Lord.

‎Martha – accepted Jesus and wanted to honor Jesus through her service.
‎Mary – with a different posture, sat in the Lord's feet, and chose to listen to Jesus as longing for His teachings.

‎There's nothing wrong with the differences. Jesus did not compare sin and service between the two situations, He then compared DISTRACTED SERVICE AND THE DEVOTED PRESENCE

‎THE QUIET DANGER‼️
‎What if habang sobrang busy natin doing things for God pero unti-unti naman natin nakakalimutan how to simply be with him?

So here are the:
FOUR FOUNDATIONS OF YOUR PRIVATE GARDEN

‎1️⃣RELATIONSHIP IS THE PRIORITY (V.40)
‎"Christianity starts with your relationship to the Lord not to activities for Him"

Intimacy matters in His Kingdom more than what you do for His Kingdom.

‎2️⃣MINISTRY MUST NEVER REPLACE INTIMACY (V.39)
‎Mary– sat down at Jesus' feet (focus on being present)
‎Martha- busy preparing (focus for being in-action)

‎In God's Kingdom, the order matters:
‎-First: to be with Him
‎-Then: to be sent out!

‎3️⃣GOD DESIRES RELATIONSHIP:
Not just workers. (V.41-42)

‎One thing necessary:
‎-RELATIONSHIP!
‎God does not only desire our service — HE, HIMSELF, DESIRES OUR HEARTS.

The goal is not just to do more for God, but to remain deeply connected to Him!

‎4️⃣INTIMACY IS THE TRUE FRUIT. (V.42)
‎"Intimacy itself is already the greater thing. It is the greatest thing!"

‎What is rooted in His presence WILL ALWAYS BEAR FRUIT IN HIS TIME!

‎One thing that is necessary in our Christian life is our RELATIONSHIP to God and not just our service.

So stay connected. ‎Be hungry with His presence. Serve Him intentionally and with intimacy. ❤️‍🔥
