A recent fire that struck Brgy. Ermita has left many families, including some of our direct beneficiaries, in urgent need of support.

Children of Asia PH is launching a call for donations to provide immediate relief and assistance to those affected. In this time of crisis, we humbly invite everyone to come together and extend a helping hand.

Project CeBook just held its very first storytelling party last March 21, 2026 (Saturday), at Cebu Making Space featuring its debut original Cebuano children’s story, “Ang Sari-sari Store sa Eskina”- and it was a resounding success!

It also marked the very first exhibition of the book’s hand-crafted illustrations created using mixed media (acrylic paint, colored pencils, papers, etc.). Comprising a total of 39 illustrations, each of the pages of this book was passionately crafted with Cebuano culture at its core; written and illustrated by yours truly, Marie Maureen:)

I would like to extend my boundless gratitude to Cebu Making Space for entrusting me this grant; this project wouldn’t have come to life without you! I still vividly remember drafting the plan last summer of 2025:') Daghang salamat for your support, guidance, generosity and for believing in this project’s vision!

Daghang salamat to DICE Diversity, Inclusion, & Children Empowerment Center Ermita and Little Angels Development Center Kamputhaw, the very first attendees of Project CeBook’s storytelling session; your presence, enthusiasm and energy truly made this special and meaningful!

Daghang salamat to the staff of the convenience stores and pharmacy for donating their used cardboard boxes; I was able to utilize it as prop! I still have some left and I am looking forward to use them to create even more storytelling props in the future.
