As part of the recent adjustments within the council, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) welcomes Janeira Marte M. Mata as the newly appointed Grade 9 Level Representative for Girls for the Academic Year 2026–2027. This change in leadership comes alongside the transition of former representative Aianna Jhozel B. Permacio to her new role as Protocol Officer, allowing for the continuation of responsibilities within the council’s structure.

With these developments, the SSLG acknowledges the smooth transition of positions and the welcoming of new leaders who will take on important roles in serving their respective year level. This shift marks the beginning of a renewed chapter of student representation, where duties are passed on with trust, responsibility, and readiness to serve. The organization looks forward to the contributions of its newly appointed officers as they step into their respective responsibilities within the council.

As the council moves forward with its newly composed line of leaders for the academic year, the SSLG remains steadfast in strengthening student involvement and ensuring that every sector of the student body is adequately represented. Following the resignation of the elected Protocol Officer for the upcoming Academic Year 2026–2027, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) formally announces the appointment of Aianna Jhozel B. Permacio as the new Protocol Officer of the organization. Prior to this appointment, she previously served as the elected Grade 9 Level Representative for Girls during the concluded SSLG Elections. This transition was carried out in preparation for the official commencement of the school year and to ensure the continuity of the council’s operations and responsibilities.

The appointment process and corresponding adjustments within the council were carried out through proper deliberations in accordance with the organization’s constitution and established internal procedures to ensure an orderly and appropriate transition of responsibilities. Necessary arrangements and organizational changes were finalized prior to the opening of classes to maintain continuity and to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the council.

Having previously held a leadership position within the council, Aianna has already shown responsibility to serve the student body. The SSLG believes that she will carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position properly and professionally as she assumes her new role within the organization.

As the organization continues its preparations for the upcoming school year, we remain committed to carrying out its duties and responsibilities accordingly for the welfare of the students and the school community.

The University of San Jose - Recoletos Junior High School Department Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) formally announces the official resignation of Jedi L. Dalde from the position of Protocol Officer for the upcoming Academic Year 2026–2027. This resignation was submitted and acknowledged prior to the official opening of the academic year. The organization recognizes and respects this decision after careful consideration of personal matters and responsibilities. While his term has not officially commenced, his willingness to step forward and serve the student body is sincerely appreciated.

Throughout the election period, Jedi demonstrated dedication and readiness to contribute to the welfare of the students and the school community. His acceptance of the responsibility reflected a genuine desire to lead and become part of an organization built upon service, integrity, and cooperation. As he prepares to take part in the Citizen Advancement Training (CAT-1), he has chosen to step down from his position to focus on the responsibilities and commitments that come with the unit. Although circumstances have led him to resign from the position, the SSLG acknowledges the courage behind his decision.
Hence, necessary adjustments and proper procedures regarding the vacant position shall be carried out accordingly. Despite the changes made in the council, we assure the student body that the organization will continue to work efficiently in preparation for the upcoming school year.

In the light of this, the SSLG wishes Jedi success in his future endeavors and personal pursuits. The organization remains grateful for his willingness to become part of the council and for the positive intentions he carried as a student leader.

We also encourage the student body to continue supporting the SSLG as we strive to foster unity, leadership, and meaningful service within the school community.

𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒂 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 is a 𝗙𝗘𝗕-𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗚 special segment open to all Junior High School students. Students are given a chance to write a letter to someone special—to teachers or to anyone their heart beats for. Students may avail of this for only 10 pesos at the SSLG Booth on February 17, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. These letters will then be read during the Tadhana Highlights segment by SSLG officers, which will take place in between the performances of Himig Hataw.
