whoever they are, lonely in the world of everlasting amour and judgement—they deserve sunshine.

the world shakes and spins, the trembles will cause you to hide yourself both literally and figuratively. like a broken prism only seen as glass, buried deep under to be lost and forgotten evermore. those people don’t know you shine when the light hits.

it doesn’t matter who you are, what you are, who you love, and what you love—you deserve sunshine.

Cor Jesu College, Inc. Boys Volleyball Team, representing Davao Region, ended their National PRISAA Games campaign with a back-to-back bronze medal finish after an intense 4-set bronze medal match against the mighty De La Salle Lipa Boys Volleyball Team from CALABARZON, 3-1 (25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 28-26) at Panaad Gymnasium.

Before the two teams face each other in the bronze medal showdown, Region XI lost in a one-sided match against Region XII's Saint Alexius College of Koronadal City in a straight set.

In contrast, Region 4-A lost in their thrilling 5-set semi-final match against the defending champions, the University of Cebu of the Central Visayas Region.

Davao Region got its dominance in the first set, but CALABARZON responded with its height advantage and solid defense to capture the second set.

While Davao Region is losing ground in the second set, their grit and determination shine to regain their rhythm in the third set.

At the 27-26 mark in the fourth set, an intense rally happens in both regions as they are in a crucial situation where Davao Region needs one set to secure a bronze medal while CALABARZON wants to extend to a deciding set.

Both teams rallied back-and-forth, not until Jonathan Sayago scored with his winning cross-court spike attack, and the match ended immediately, ending their campaign with a bronze medal victory.

With his powerful attack and excellent playmaking throughout the game, Jonathan Sayago was awarded as the Best Opposite Hitter in the Secondary Boys' Volleyball Tournament in this edition.

This is also their second time to finish in a bronze medal, as they did in the last edition in Tuguegarao City, where they beat Region X in their intense 5-set match.

Showing a display of grit, composure, and determination to win, the CJC Boys Volleyball Team, led by Jasper Bayon-on, leaves its remarkable campaign with another podium finish for Davao Region for this edition of the National PRISAA Games.

Cor Jesu College Boys' Volleyball Team, representing the Davao Region, is cruising its way to the semi-final round of the Boys' Volleyball Tournament of the National PRISAA Games 2026 after dominating the Western Visayas Region in a flawless, one-sided 2-0 game (25-20, 25-20) at Panaad Sports Complex.

In the first set, Khent Villamor contributes four service aces along with Carl Anticamara's two crucial blocks and Jonathan Sayago's three attack points to make the momentum work in their favor.

Crucial rallies and quick reflexes dominated in the early minutes of the second set, with Sayago's attack that made the hopes of the semifinals alive.

The Western Visayas region is challenging the team's momentum with its explosive attacks. Still, the Davao Region responded with Matthew Camporedondo's crucial spike with a service ace, allowing them to disrupt the opponent's pace to end the game in their favor once again.

With a commanding 2-0 victory, they are now once again advancing to the semifinal round tomorrow morning against Region XII's Saint Alexius College of Koronadal City at the same venue, hoping to secure their medal contention alive once again.
