Feels like baking Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies again tonight. 🍪

I know chunky cookies are the trend, and they do look really good. But I always go back to the classic flat ones.

There’s just something about the crispy edges, chewy middle, and simple homemade taste. The chunky ones make me feel a little umay after a few bites, but these? I can keep reaching for one more. 😅

Maybe it’s just me, but classic will always win.

20% rye sourdough bread

Nothing fancy, just some good old classic chocolate chip cookies for the family. 🍪🤎

Tried making sourdough using all-purpose flour this time. It came out okay, but I still prefer using bread flour with a bit of rye flour. 😊

No worries though—it’s still so good, especially dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Practicing my SD skills again after resting for quite a long time. And honestly, getting back into it reminded me how much I truly love baking bread.

Second day in a row baking a whole wheat sourdough with a touch of olive oil — for home consumption only and for friends willing to be my guinea pigs hehe. 🤭

Messy slow Tuesday at home.

Home baked whole wheat sourdough last night for today’s breakfast. Fresh guacamole and scrambled eggs for the fam.
