The Integrated Bar of the Philippines proudly showcases the nationwide participation of its Chapters in the Nationwide Synchronized Tree Planting Activity, a collective effort that reflects the legal profession’s continuing commitment to environmental stewardship, community service, and nation-building.

From Luzon to Visayas and Mindanao, IBP Chapters, together with partner agencies, local government units, volunteers, and stakeholders, planted the seeds of a greener and more sustainable future for the Filipino people.

The IBP extends its sincere gratitude to all participating Chapters, members, partners, and volunteers who made this nationwide initiative possible.

Together, we continue to elevate service, empower progress, and embrace inclusivity — for the environment, for our communities, and for future generations.

PLANTED! IBP AKLAN CHAPTER JOINS NATIONWIDE SYNCHRONIZED TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY 🌳

Today, June 14, 2026, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Aklan Chapter proudly stood in solidarity with the IBP National Office and chapters nationwide for a collective commitment to environmental protection, sustainability, and nation-building.

The IBP Aklan Chapter and its Committee on Environment and Indigenous Peoples, in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (PENRO Aklan), successfully conducted its local tree planting activity earlier this morning at Jawili, Tangalan, Aklan. Together, we successfully planted 100 Narra trees. 🌿

This synchronized effort reaffirms that the legal profession’s duty goes beyond legal advocacy—it encompasses safeguarding our natural resources. Through this undertaking, we plant not only trees, but also hope, responsibility, and a greener future for the next generation.

We extend our thanks to our volunteer lawyers, staff, and friends for participating.

Serbisyong IBP Goes to Altavas, Aklan

On June 13, 2026, the IBP Aklan Chapter, in partnership with Bona Fortuna Farms and in cooperation with TESDA Aklan, Monfort Technical Institute, the Local Civil Registrar of Altavas, and LGU Altavas, successfully conducted a Legal Aid Caravan and Outreach Program at the Julio G. Refol Sr. Memorial Cultural and Sports Complex in Poblacion, Altavas, Aklan.

Our dedicated volunteer lawyers provided free legal consultations and assisted residents with the drafting and notarization of simple documents, focusing heavily on delayed/late birth registrations and other pressing legal concerns. To ensure a seamless process, the Local Civil Registrar of Altavas was on-site to directly facilitate late registrations and corrections of clerical errors.

In addition to legal services, trainers and trainees from the Monfort Technical Institute (accredited by TESDA Aklan) pampered the community with free haircuts, manicures, and pedicures.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all our volunteer lawyers, partners, and stakeholders for making this outreach a success!

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Aklan Chapter proudly joins the nation in commemorating the spirit of freedom and patriotism this June 12. In line with this celebration, we look back on our previous legal aid activities, where our members extended legal assistance, guidance, and support to the community.

Through continued service and legal outreach, we remain committed to upholding justice, strengthening civic responsibility, and honoring the sacrifices that shaped our independence.⚖️🇵🇭

IBP Aklan Participates in HIV Redress Mechanism Training

IBP Aklan Chapter attended the Law Enforcement Training on the Creation of the Provincial Redress Mechanism for HIV-Related Cases held on May 28–29, 2026 at Nenette’s Garden, Kalibo, Aklan, as part of the Province’s continuing efforts to strengthen a rights-based, stigma-free, and gender-sensitive response to HIV, consistent with the anti-discrimination and redress mechanisms contemplated under the Philippine HIV and AIDS Policy Act (RA 11166). The chapter was represented by Chapter Secretary Atty. Ryce J. Magalit and Atty. Annika G. Damian

IBP Aklan is likewise a committed member of the Aklan Provincial AIDS Council (APAC), represented by Chapter President, Atty. Jude M. Mangilog.

We support legal initiatives that protect the rights and welfare of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and help ensure accessible and responsive mechanisms for HIV-related concerns in the Province of Aklan.

Serbisyong IBP Goes to Altavas, Aklan

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Aklan Chapter announces its upcoming Free Legal Aid Caravan on 13 June 2026, Saturday, at the Julio G. Refol, Sr. Memorial Cultural and Sports Complex, Poblacion, Altavas, Aklan.

In line with this activity, the Chapter calls on volunteer lawyers to take part in providing free legal consultation, free notarization and drafting of simple affidavits, and legal lectures on the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA Law) and the Safe Spaces Act.

This initiative forms part of the IBP Aklan Chapter’s continuing commitment to access to justice, public legal education, and meaningful service to the community.
