Do you ever feel like you don't recognize yourself anymore?

I have this habit of scrolling through my gallery to look back at photos from the past few months. It's my way of checking how far I've come (I love documenting every day 📸).

With only 3 months left in the year, I've been reviewing my goals (another habit of mine). And I realized I've actually achieved everything I set out to do this year. But somewhere along the way, I slowly forgot how to take care of myself.

These two photos were taken just one day apart. How is it possible to look your lowest one day and your best the next? 🤣😭 A woman's body really is amazing.

But am I really not taking care of myself?

I wake up every day with a positive mindset. I avoid eating out and cook my own meals. I've cut off toxic habits, I drink plenty of water, I exercise, I take my supplements, and I surround myself with good people.

Still, I spend a lot of time under the sun (with sunscreen!), my sleep schedule is a mess, and worst of all, I'm dealing with hormonal imbalance. Sometimes I blame myself for being too productive, too ambitious, too goal-oriented. Maybe I work so much that my body is already telling me to slow down.

Some people say I just need a boyfriend 🙄 Honestly, I'm past that. This season of my life is personal, and I'm not looking to be with anyone right now.

So what's my point?

Listen to what your body is telling you. Your skin reflects what's happening inside you, so take care of it like your life depends on it.

It's okay to be goal-oriented, but never neglect the source of your grit. 💪
