- Hair neatly bun with hair gel in a black hairnet
- Cosmetics and Accessories are not allowed

Please strictly comply with the prescribed Type C uniform, bearing standards, and required paraphernalia. Rigorous inspections will be enforced prior to formation starting this upcoming Saturday and throughout all succeeding training days. Non-compliance will result in immediate demerits.

𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐑 | VSUV-ROTCU Corps Commander, S3, S7 attend Student Leadership Development Training-Workshop

On 230800H September 2026, the VSUV-ROTCU Corps Commander, Operations Officer (S3), and Civil-Military Operations Officer (S7) attended the Student Leadership Development Training-Workshop at the VSU Villaba Student Center.

With the theme, "Lead with Purpose: Building Responsible and Effective Student Leaders," the whole-day activity sought to broaden the knowledge of the student leaders about their core roles, duties, and responsibilities to the university.

The morning session was all about Institutional Processes and Organizational Policies which was thoroughly discussed by VSUV Chancellor and resource speaker, Mr. Bon Anthony F. Costillas. While the afternoon session focused on Leadership Communication and Documentation facilitated by Mr. Arsenio Jahn B. Dolino III.

Through this activity, the VSUV-ROTCU cadet officers have acquired new insights to lead with integrity, strengthen their unit governance, and better serve the university community.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Molding Disciplined Leaders, Advocating Drug-free Communities: VSUV-ROTCU conducts 5th NSTP Common Module

​Operating under the decisive leadership of VSUV-ROTCU Commandant 2LT CARMELA E ESPEÑO, PA (RES), and the steadfast guidance of NSTP Coordinator MR. ADONIS J SINAMBONG, the Visayas State University Villaba-Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit (VSUV-ROTCU) successfully conducted the NSTP 5th Common Module today, September 19, 2026, at the VSU Villaba Student Center.

The morning kicked off from 0800H to 0900H with cadet officers inspecting proper bearing, conducting final screenings for supporting units and the band platoon, and leading basic ROTC cadets through practical drill commands and "harap-harapan" exercises under the direction of Corps Commander C/LTC JOHN MICHAEL P PUNONG 1CL.

Following the practical drill formation, the program proceeded from 0900H to 1100H with an insightful lecture on Drug Education delivered by NSTP Coordinator MR. ADONIS J. SINAMBONG. His discussion highlighted the critical risks of substance addiction, its socio-health impacts on the youth, and the vital role of student-cadets in fostering safe, drug-free communities.

Through this comprehensive session, VSUV-ROTCU continues to reinforce its core mission of instilling civic responsibility, discipline, and integrity among future leaders.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞

Operating under the leadership of VSUV-ROTCU Commandant 2LT CARMELA E ESPEÑO, PA (RES) and the guidance of NSTP Coordinator MR. ADONIS J SINAMBONG, the Visayas State University Villaba-Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit (VSUV-ROTCU) successfully executed the NSTP 4th Common Module at the VSU Villaba Student Center on 12 September 2026, from 0800H to 1200H.

Featuring a lecture by SGT KIER LAMBERT DEMAIN, PA (RES), the session provided NSTP students with essential instruction on Earth science fundamentals, focusing on the crust, mantle, and inner core, as well as the classification of igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks.

The session concluded with an emphasis on environmental protection and conservation, underscoring the vital responsibility of NSTP students to practice and promote sustainability across campus, home, and local barangay sectors in service to the nation.

On 050800H-1200H September 2026, the Visayas State University Villaba-Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit (VSUV-ROTCU) successfully conducted the NSTP 3rd Common Module at the VSU Villaba Student Center. Under the proactive leadership of VSUV-ROTCU Commandant 2LT CARMELA E. ESPEÑO, PA (RES), along with the guidance of NSTP Coordinator MR. ADONIS J SINAMBONG, the session aimed to strengthen civic duty and discipline among the participating students.

The session focused on National Security Awareness, expertly delivered by Tactical NCO SGT KIER LAMBERT DEMAIN PA (RES). The insightful discussion highlighted the vital role of youth in safeguarding the nation and provided NSTP students with a deeper understanding of current security perspectives and their responsibility toward national defense and peacebuilding.

Further, it reinforces the commitment of VSUV-ROTCU to developing disciplined and security-conscious student leaders.
